						<description><![CDATA[The bathroom floor was the only place we swabbed that had bacteria.  My question was Where do you predict part of the school has the most bacteria? I thought it was goons be Porters door handle but I was wrong it was the bathroom floor.  When I looked in the pee-tree dish I saw a lot of nasty white stuff growing. I think we could have been more accurate with our swabbing by swabbing the more dirty parts of our school I think a lot of bacteria is on the ground and not so much on door handles and toilet water. By looking at other people's pee-tree dishes i think Most of the bacteria grows on the ground or on dead things, and bacteria grows best in body temperature (98.6).<br />

						<description><![CDATA[1. How do you know how much each lens magnifies the object? You can magnify up to 100x.<br />

2. How do you start trying to find something under the microscope? There are two knobs that you can turn to adjust the stage up and down so you can focus.<br />

3. What is a dry mount? It's when you put something on the slide under the microscope and it's dry.<br />
<br />
4. What is a wet mount? It's when you put something on the slide under the microscope and it's wet.<br />
<br />
5. What is the field of vision? The area or solid angle which can be viewed through a microscope.<br />
<br />
6. What is focal plane all about? The focal plane, or principal plane of focus, is the plane upon which the lens is actually focused.<br />
<br />
7. How do you move things on the microscope to see them correctly? There are two knobs that you can turn to adjust the stage up and down so you can focus. You can also move the slide. But because the when you looking through a microscope everything is backwards you have to move it the opposite way. for example you have to move it right to move it left get the idea? 						<description><![CDATA[in our minipond and some thing that looked like paramecia but they might have been some kind of plant cell. We also found Paramecia and Amoeba in our min-pond and they are Unicellular organisms which can survive on their own without help from any other cell. But the elodea in our mini-pond is multi-cellular and they can't survive on their own they rely on other Multi-cellular organisms so they rely on each other.<br />

						<description><![CDATA[<p>Can people do something now to fix the global warming part of climate change?  Yes we can, get your families to use the car less ride a bike or get a Preus. If you do use your car don't speed on the highway the exhaust pollutes the air, and try to stay away from those gas-guzzling airplanes.If you can, buy your food from local farm shops and try and avoid imported goods. Trucks and planes bringing in food and stuff from other countries, or from far away parts of your own country, use large amounts of fuel.Turn the heating down in winter. If you're cold, wear more clothes! Turn the air conditioning down in summer or use a fan. When it's warm, dress cool. When it's cool, dress warm.Turn things off! Leaving lights, heating, air conditioning, computers, TVs and stuff on when you don't need them wastes a lot of energy. Turning them off saves money too! Get a wood stove. Learn to cook! Home cooking is not only fun, it means you don't have to drive to a takeaway or fast food restaurant. Results? Less pollution. If you  make a garden, you can grow a lot of your own food. And composting your waste food means it doesn't have to be trucked away to a  landfill waste dump where it will cause more pollution including methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. Recycle everything you can, if you don't buy so much stuff in the first place, then you don't need to reuse or recycle it. See if you can get your parents and friends interested in free solar wind that's energy from the sun and wind. You can get much of your hot water and heating from the sun and even generate electricity. If you live in a windy place, a wind turbine, aka windmill really is a serious option.</p><br />

<p>Should we do something now to fix global warming? Why or why not?  Yes we should, because if we don't the problems could be huge, because of the crazy pace of our daily life. Global warming is a slow-moving problem. But that doesn't mean you should wait and see what happens. If we wait, we may be creating an big problem, an unstoppable climatic shift that could have horrible impacts in the years to come.</p><br />

						<description><![CDATA[<p>How does environment affect organisms? Changes in the environment can make some organisms have to find a new way of living. Some might need to find a new source of food. Changes in temperature can really change the climate. It can make most animals move to a different part of the world, just by a small change in the temperature. Changes in the environment can be horrible for some organisms and good for other organisms. It can take away sources of food and water, or it can give new ones to the organisms that need them to survive. For example scientists are saying phytoplankton is increasing because of climate change. On march 27th, 2011 the climate started to heat up about 400,000 square feet of the ocean. The phytoplankton are growing 50 days earlier than they were 14 years ago. The climate change hasn't affected any other organisms but scientists are still looking into it. Why the the organisms appear non-living? Because things have to have water to live so when they weren't consuming any water they weren't thriving but when you put them in water they can absorb it and live.</p><br />
