Fadel’s Journal

I was born July 31st, 2004 at a gas station in downtown Marico. I two sisters named Fateen and Fatween. Their births are January 45th, 1995 and April 99th, 1999. My mum is 132 and my dud is 123. (I think.) I have dog named bike and a bike that I named dog. My sister Fatween has a cat named Fetwah who ate my poor bike and there was blood on my bed, so now my bed is zee color of red. I sleep with a princess blankie my mum knitted me when she was 20. I was not even born yet but my dud wanted a boy to play zee zees with. (Whatever that is.) I has a very confusing life! My dud so skinny he come home from work at eight. My mum so lazy that she no take me to Game Stop. She say game too much money so you save money. Here is my awesome song to end my awesome journal writing:

Final Pioneer Diary Entry -- 05-10-12

Date: Don’t know at all but I thing it is November!

The trip since leaving Ohio has been OK. It is not the best, but it’s joyful that everyone is still alive. I got better and going on the trail was like the only time I have gotten sick so I regret that part. The trip itself has been stressful but fun because we are traveling parts of the world. It is stressful because we have had devastation and troublesome times. But thankfully they are all great memories.

We had lots of memorable events since leaving Fort Independence. One memorable event was when my daughter Shannon got married and then had twin girls. Another event was when I was so weak and so sick I really thought I was going to die. A memorable thing was when we sent out all of our husbands to look and they all came back healthy and not sick or hurt. Caleb got shot with an arrow in the chest and surprisingly lived but suffered through it. A lot of people died and that was a very sad, memorable tragedy.

The decision my wagon train made was to go back to Paradise. Anna Ives and Sarah Morris didn’t like the decision but we all bribed them to go along with it. I loved the decision because there is everything we need in Paradise and we don’t want to die by getting stuck in the heavy snow. When the snow is cleared we are going to make our way to Oregon. I feel very safe with this decision because I know that Paradise is safe and has everything we need to survive during the heavy falling snow.

I expect a lot of my wagon train friend members will stay alive because of our decision. I think this because Paradise is a great place. But I expect next spring when we go to Snow Pass people will die. It is life, though.

My advise for future pioneers is that they need to play it safe. They also need to try their best to do things even if you are running low on energy. The best advise is to have fun and enjoy the rest of the life you have.

These may be my last words but they might be the first words of my new life.

Solar System

The solar system is big and made up of a lot of things.
There is a whole process to how the solar system started. First it started as a mass. Then eventually it explodes and becomes a cocomesa star. Then clusters become galaxies. That is how the Solar system forms.

As I said before, the solar system is made up of a lot of things. It is made up of stars and asteroids. It is also made up of planets. The planets are: Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Earth, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn.
Venus is one of the planets in the solar system. Venus is really hot. It is 450 degrees Celcius. Also, Venus is like a twin to earth. This is because they are about the same size. The only difference is that they are not the same colors.

Always remember, the solar system is made up of a lot of things and that is why it is so big.

To me a good friend is someone who really likes you and doesn’t use you. The want to be with you a lot and are very humorous. They care about you and your family and would do a lot for you.

Me and Horsebackrider1 are friends just like I explained. Also, good friends are more than what I explained. They are everything to each other.

Today was picture day. I dressed up so fancy. We were having pictures after lunch and during recess. Well, it was lunch, and I was walking with my hot lunch and I slipped on a banana peal. I spilled my food on my new shirt, and I had chunks of food in my hair. I was a mess for my picture. Before I knew it, I was taking pictures, and when the lady printed my picture I was crying it was so bad! My mom is going to be so mad.

Skating Superstar

I dashed off the ice to my mom, literally tripping! I screamed, "I am doing a solo for the ice skating show."

“That sounds fun, but it is coming soon so you should start picking a song,” my mom exclaimed.

My mom and I went into the office at the rink to pick out a skating dress. There were so many to choose from I couldn’t pick. But then one caught my eye. It was a black and sparkly gold zebra print one. I told my mom I wanted that one. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I was so glad.

We told the lady we were going to buy that one. She said, "Everyone wants this. You are so lucky you got it because that was the only zebra print one we had."

A couple of weeks later and a few days before the show I finally picked a song. I picked "Born to Be Somebody" by Justin Bieber.

Three days later was the show. We were in the car, and I kept saying to my mom, "Go faster!"

My mom would say, "I can’t, but calm down we are almost there."

I was jumping out of my seat I was so excited! We arrived at the rink. I was already in my dress so I jumped out of the car with my skating bag and ran like a lightning bolt into the rink. I got my skates on and waited for my turn.

Later on, my skating teacher said, "You are going on the ice soon."

I followed her to a little area where I waited. Soon it was my turn. They said my name as I skated onto the ice. They put the music on and I did my routine perfect. I couldn’t stop smiling. It went by so quick! I skated off the ice as the clapping died. I ran over to my family and they were so proud.

I was so sad it was over, but I was relieved I did everything correct. And I had fun with it!

Dear Diary,

The Lunch!

Yesterday at lunch was the worst lunch, and I will tell you why. I went to open my lunch box and my sandwich was not in a bag or anything and it popped out of my lunchbox and landed on the dirty table! I ate it anyway because that was the only thing I had for lunch. People kept saying, "Ewwwww! Why are you eating it if it was on the dirtiest table in the lunchroom?!"

I finished, and I went to go throw out the bag but I fell in the garbage! I was screaming help but no one came to help me out. When my teacher Mrs. Ponatle came, she helped me out. I was covered in garbage! I went to the office, and I called my mom and asked her to bring me new cloths. But she said she couldn't because she was at work and so was my dad. I was stuck in the dirty cloths, but thank goodness there was only an hour and a half left of the day.

Dear Diary,

Well, today at gym class we were swinging on monkeybars. My pants happened to be a little low today, and when I was hanging there my shirt went up and my underwear was showing! It was my "Little Mermaid" ones! Everyone started making fun of me! I thought this was a dream so I said, "Hey everyone! Did you see my underwear?" Then I pinched myself to wake up, but I figured out it wasn't a dream. I couldn't believe I said that in front of my whole class! I am going to stop here because you don't want to know what happened after that!

Dear Diary,

What a Halloween day! For Halloween I was going to be a ladybug. Well, anyway, today was the Halloween parade at school. I got dressed in the girl's bathroom and then went into the classroom. As I walked into the classroom everyone started to crack up with laughter. I didn’t know why. Everyone was dressed up as like a cool pirate or hippie and other things like that. But, me, I was a ladybug. I figured out they were laughing at my babyish costume! I was so embarrassed! When we went outside for the parade my teacher said to me, "Oh, kindergartener, are you lost?" I said, "No, it is Kira." She and I made a total fool of ourselves.

Why, Why, Why?

Dear Diary,

When I fell off of Charm at horse riding lessons yesterday why did Allie, the teacher, have to get so mad at me? I mean, I don’t understand. Shouldn’t you feel bad? Now all of the girls in my lesson make fun of me for falling off the best horse in the barn!

This whole thing started when I got on Charm. My saddle was so tilted and slippery it was hard to stay on. Anyway, my teacher told me to canter without stirrups, and that is when I slipped off! I felt like the teacher played a trick on me! Everyone started laughing. I was so embarrassed! I was glad I wasn’t hurt. Well, nobody cared if I was hurt! Anyway, so I tried asking the office lady if I can go at another time and she said NO. Plain old no! I was so mad. Then I did something I shouldn’t have done. I asked, "Why!?" The office lady said because there is no room in another lesson and next time it is none of my business!

Anyway I told you I am a total slob!

Wild Fire -- 09-23-11

I walked into the office at Twin Lakes Farm. I asked who I was riding, and the office lady said that I was riding Wild Fire. I went into the ring and told the groom I was riding Wild Fire. Then all of a sudden, he walked up with this white horse with some gray spots. Then he said who is riding Wild Fire. I said, "Me," and then walked over and got on. Then I fixed my stirrups and walked around. My teacher walked into the ring, and we started the lesson. During the lesson we were practicing for the show we were going to have a couple a days after. We did our warm up and lined up to canter. Someone went before me and then it was my turn. I was kicking as hard as I could and then all of the sudden. . . . He turned around really fast and I fell off! My teacher came over and helped me back on Wild Fire. I trotted around and then my teacher made me canter again. The other kids went and then the lesson was over. I couldn’t believe I fell off a second time.
