Changing desks is fun. You put little slips of paper in a can and the teacher will call out a name. And the next person he calls out is your partner. If you haven't already sat next to them, you sit next to them for 3 weeks and then we switch again.

I was the last one finished and I didn't like that the teacher kept looking over my shoulder. I was nervous.

The Field Trip to many places in Chinatown. Ok, first, I went in my best friend’s car, her name’s Ellie. The car ride was fun! We got gum. Blew bubbles, and talked the whole way there. Next, we went to

Uwajimaya.

It’s like a grocery store. It was OK, everything was in Chinese. Except for that, it was fun. First we went to the fish/seafood area. Then the girly area. After that we went to library. But their books are weird. They write it from right to left. Now we went to the color area. They had a whole ton of cool crayons, and anything you can imagine. Finally we went to the sticker area, they had hundreds of stickers.

Third, we went to the Fortune cookie factory. It smelled bad at the first area. Which were the fried noodles. It was good! The ingredients were noodles, rice, and water. Then we went to the wheat noodles area. I forget the ingredients. It was like eggs, flour, wheat, and salt. That’s all I think it was but I’m not sure. We tried it. I sort of liked it. Then we went to the fortune cookie area. It was such a good smell. We got to see the machines and how they were made and stuff like that. After that we got to try some, actually 4. They were good!

Now, we went to SunYa, a restaurant. I hated what they had. I just don’t like Chinese food. All I had/liked was fortune cookies. I had 2. We had a chopstick contest, it was whichever table didn’t use their fork/hands the most won.

After that, we went to a park. I forget the name but it was fun! The ride home was annoying. Hunter kept making trucks honk their horn.

My favorite thing this weekend was going to Mercedes birthday party and Sam’s birthday party (Sam’s a girl) and sleeping over at Ellie’s. The parties were at Lincoln Park and Roller skating rink.

What’s on my mind is, well two things are on my mind. I get my phone back today whoa.

The second thing is I’m going to Finland with no parents or brothers but a guide is going to show me which plane and gate to go on. I’m going to go there for a month and a couple days!! And I’m missing the last week of school, actually I might I’m not sure but I’m so excited!!!!

Then on Saturday it's Elle’s party and it will be fun watching movies doing the runway and ice cream sundaes, Yum! Then it will be mother's day, awesome.

May 8, 2012 What I thought about the MSP test is there were not hard parts but not easy parts. It was a big book so it took so long I didn’t skip and come back. I feel great and now the math test is coming up and I feel better about that one. The snack was ok. I brought my own but Mr. A said to eat his snacks so nobody had better snacks than anybody else. I did some colorings, it felt like I was just taking a normal test nothing bad or good.

May 10, 2012 I liked the math test better because it’s harder but the reading was the easiest thing ever. But they both took forever because they are big books. The snack was ok, I poured the juice and everyone kept asking me first, I want the juice first. It was so irritating.

The new computer lab is painted and looks great. The computers are the best computers I've ever seen! They're called iMac computers, flat screen and flat keyboard.

My plans for spring break are to sleep at friends mostly or they’ll sleep over. And I’m probably going to go shopping with my mom and Ellie this Saturday. I’m hoping to go to the family fun center. it will be fun!

I felt after the first class because once you do it once, you can do it again. So it wasn't that bad. They were quiet. They didnt have any questions. I was surprised cause they were first graders. One kid had a question, but it wasn't about earthday.

I was expecting a lot of questions. The second class was pretty much the same. But they were kindergarteners, so I was expecting a lot of questions from them too. But they didn't have any questions. So it was alright, and I won't feel weird about speaking in classrooms

Pacific Science Center -- 03-01-12

Yesterday we went to the Pacific Science Center. It was awesome! We learned about space and mostly planets in the planetarium. Then there was a laser show, There was a place were people could lay down. There was a big huge place were there was big huge speakers. There was music so you could dance. With lasers on the wall and ceiling, and then we had lunch. Then we explored and we also went to the dinosaur area. and the tropical butterfly house. None of them landed on me.

I’m having like 5 people sleep over today (Friday) and it will be fun. We’ll paint our nails um then we’ll watch horror movies and stay up all night. In the morning we’ll have chocolate waffles and probably play sing star. I’m not good but I have fun. Then I will probably sleep at Ellie’s house. On Sunday my dad’s coming.

What’s on my mind is snow. I’m wondering if it will snow again I hope it does so we can have a snow day! If it doesn’t snow tomorrow we’re going to have to make more snowflakes for the wall. If we fill 3 shades with snowflakes we get a snow day.

My vacation was great! On Tuesday Ellie slept over at my house and so did Ava and Evelyn. Then on Wednesday I slept at Ellie’s house on Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday I forgot what we did. But when the snow came we played in the snow and helped Ellie’s neighbors with the fort they were building and then went sledding, had hot coco, later on went sledding again, then we did pretty much the same on Friday.

why you should keep decorations up after Christmas. -- 01-10-12

I think you should take them down around Dec 30, 31. Because we have alot of decorations. Decorations are pretty and they make your house look prettier. They make your house stand out like the Manashes.

It takes alot of work if you do it around your house so it makes sense to do it later cause instead of doing all that work you can chill and just play with your gifts from Christmas.

Finland! -- 12-12-11

It was the night before I went to Finland. I was at my house packing. It was December 16, 2010. Logan, Connor, Dylan, my dad, and I we’re all going to Finland. Tomorrow came. We all had to get up early in the morning so we wouldn’t miss our plane. I threw up in the bathroom after the plane landed. But I always got plane sick.

On the 17th we were in Helsinki, Finland. We took days building this. There was at least 3ft of snow! They had a garage we used to make a track. The track went from the garage roof to the ground. It was the 20th when we drove to Jupijokie (A town in Finland). It was three hours of boredness. But our family was there and it was worth it. Our aunt, cousins, my godfather and mother were all there. After we all saw each other. We got a Christmas tree, then we put up decorations.

On Christmas Eve Santa walks through the door. It’s a tradition they do in Finland. It was fun! I got almost everything I wanted. So we built a snow tunnel and it took us till the 28th to build it. It was huge. The grown ups could crawl through it! It took me and Logan days to build it. But we did it!

It was the 29th so we drove to Helsinki again and then we took a plane back to Seattle. There was still some more presents in Seattle for us. My favorite gift we all had to share was a kitten!! She is a tuxedo cat. We named her Kelly Kitty. She will hide in bags and we pick her up. She would peek her head out and play with her toys.

It was the best Christmas break ever!

The Turkey Escape! -- 11-17-11

My name is Mari and my sister’s name is Mila and so is my grandma. We’re turkeys. We hate Thanksgiving. Every hunter wants me because I’m fat. It’s the day before Thanksgiving.

I’m walking through the forest with Mila, my sister. But then something came falling out of the tree! It’s a cage, RRUUUUNN!!! But I couldn’t. I was already trapped. The cage was voice activated and the password was get out. My sister ran away and forgot about me. But now I was about to get cooked. But just as I was going to get cooked somebody broke in and he yelled get out. And I was free I ran all the way home. The burglar got what he wanted, money.

We moved to a city that doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving. And now I live with my sister Mila and my grandma.

My friend Emily stayed home alone. The house has a curtain that separates the hall and living room. She hears footsteps down the hallway.

So she grabs all the knives she could find. And just threw them on her coffee table and they're all messy. She calls her mom and heard footsteps. She looks out and the knives are nice, neat, and organized.

She came to our house cause she was scared. Then her mom came to our house cause she knew Emily was there. When she went back and the knives were put away.

I think it really was true because when we went to pick her up she was outside her house in the dark and she hates being alone now. But they moved.

Well school is fun so far. I go to Ms.Salter for science and reading. And Mr.Fisk for math. Math and gym are my favorite.
