During the process of making my project, fur got EVERYWHERE. I mean, it’s not even funny! I was making a paper machet cat, then covering it in this soft fluffy fur fabric. It was soft and cute and stuff, but once it was cut to fit the cat, it got all over the place! I feel pretty ready, but the posterboard… Isn’t.. well… Started yet. I probably should go start that now…

I felt someone nose me. "Urrggh..." I grumbled, opening my eyes. Instead of fresh forest air hitting my nose, a rancid stench of fear reached me. "What the- Hello!?" I jumped to my paws. "What's going on?" I howled. I turned around to see a gray wolf with blue dashes. "Hey. Your Rein, right? I'm Radical." I narrowed my eyes. "Who are you?" I asked, unbeleiving. "I just said." He retorted. "Welcome to your living nightmare."

What do you think? Is it good? Should I continue?

We are Megara! Bum, bu dum bum bum bum bum! Funny, right? The country and culture was unique and special, and they were divided into city-states, which are fully populated areas. There are many ranks of power. Aristocrats are the highest, while Small farmers and tethes are close behind. These are considered citizens. Women and children born to citizens are considered a non-citizen, along with merchants and the foreign-born. And, the not-free, are the slaves.
In class, we are doing stimulation with games. I’m pretty happy, but we rarely do games. Maybe some more of them? I like it, but I think it could be better. I like humanities a lot better, but math is still my favorite. I like all of my classes, but my least favorite is L.A. Sorry Mrs. Lubich…

Blogging chance! -- 12-14-11

Okay! I’d like to write about a few songs I’ve heard. It’s about me and my friends! Here’s a couple(and a lot more)
No Fear Song:
~big scary giraffe-turtles pop up~
~everyone screams, ‘cept me~
Me: ~makes faces at the trees, laughing~ Ha? Blurr-r-rr-r! Haha!
Aspen: Camryn, what are you doing? RUN!
Me: Don’t you see girls? ~random music~ when I was a little girl and the sun was going doo-ooowwn…
Taylor: Tell me she’s not…
Me: The darkness and the shadows, they would always make me froo-ooowwn…
Katie: She is…
Me: I’d hide under my pillow, from what I thought I saw! But Grandma said that wasn’t the way, to deal with fears at all! She said, ‘Camryn, you got to stand up tall, learn to face your fears! You’ll see, just laugh at them to make them disappear!’ ~turns to a face~ Ha, ha ha! ~face disappears~
Katie, Taylor, Aspen: Gasp!
Me: SOOOOO Giggle at the ghostly, guffaw at the grossly! Crack up at the creepy, woof it up with the weepy! Chortle at the kooky, snortle at the spooky! If a big and scary face just comes up to you say take a hike and you win and this sort of thing just makes me want to… He, ha, ha!! LAAAUUUUUUUGHHH!
Everyone: ~laughs~
Hush now, Quiet now Song
Taylor: Hush now, quiet now, it’s time to lay your sleepy heads… Hush now, quiet now it’s time to go bed…
Katie: Hey! I know that song!
Taylor: Oh, how wonderful, would you like to sing along?
Katie: ~Deep breath~
Me and Aspen: ~Plug ears, ready to sing as well~
Katie: ~Jazz tune with it~ HUSH NOW, QUIET NOW! IT’S TIME TO LAY YOUR SLEEPY HEAD! SAID HUSH NOW, QUIET NOW, IT’S TIME TO GO TO BED!
Me and Katie: DOOT DOOT!
Katie: OFF TO SLEEP, LET THE JOY OF DAYLIGHT FIND YOU!
Me and Katie: DOOT DOOT!
Katie: OFF TO SLEEP, LEAVE THE JOY OF EXCITEMENT LIGHT YOU!!!!
Taylor: ~is hiding under bed~ W-wonderful…?
And finally, last but not least…
Funny quote!
There’s skiing, and there’s throwing yourself off a mountain and hoping for the best.

Things I am thankful for… Number One, my family. My family is the best anyone could ever ask for. I can’t wait to get together with my family, and I can’t wait for Christmas to see their faces on what I got them. Number Two, my pets; they are a delight and a wonder. I really like them a lot. They say pets are therapy. They’re more like a chaotic mess. Number Three, my friends; my best friends, and there are too many to list. But, the most loyal to me are Aspen P., Katie S., and Taylor W. I'm really happy to have found them. Those are my three things I’m thankful for!

It's a Mystery! Oohhhwheeeeeooohhhhh -- 11-11-11

My favorite story was probably "Black Cat". It's about this freaky little fuzzball called Pluto, and when his owner kills him, he gets his revenge. While reading the story, I knew this wasn't going to be a happy ending. His creativeness with the story was awesome, and I wish I could right like that!Oh, and here's a great storyline for a scary story...(I wrote this myself!)
I stare doubtfully up at the cave. "It seems dangerous." I commented, my eyebrow furrowing. "Nonsense!" My grand-pappy said, giving me a nudge. "Alright, fine." I take a step inside the half-collapsed cave. I hear the sounds of a moving bus, then children screaming. I immediately back out. My grandfather has gone silent. One sentence is all that's heard next. "Hey... How's life? I haven't seen it IN YEARS."

Greeneyes' Story- Part Three -- 10-31-11

That secret. Eh, I would tell you right now, but it's better left unsaid. Resuming where I left off... Dawnlight had begun coughing up blood. One day, while we were training, she fell over and wouldn't get up. I ran for help. "Dawn... light... Big... Puddle... Blood... Help!" Is what I said. I ran back to her with many cats following. But the time it took for me to get help was too long. She perished beneath the Great Maple. The ceremony was to clean her fur and sit vigil with her. Not before I got my warrior name. I sat vigil for my beloved mentor and mother with my new name, Greeneyes. A few days later, something horrible happened. A big explosion happened in WillowClan. A huge fire spread, and the Clans dispersed. I was followed by Adderfang and Sandfoot. Soon, we recollected in different Clans. And on came the Birds. FalconClan, OwlClan, HeronClan, VultureClan, and EagleClan!

Always Remember -- 10-24-11

Always remember… Many people right now are thinking, ‘Always remember what?’. Why is it important to remember, you ask? Think of this large country. For generations, years, we’ve fought to keep our freedom, our remembrance, making our name legendary. Our country has fought many wars, some we’ve tried to stop, tried to ignore, and tried to save ourselves. Sometimes, it’s nice to sit back and remember our ancestors, our family, and our friends, who fought for our freedom. Many gave their lives, but many ask, for what?
Honestly I just want everyone to be remembering all the veterans who died for them, and I want them to be honored.

Books? -- 10-18-11

Well, you know me! Always reading a book! Of course, when I'm not listening to DOL or such other thing in Language Arts, I'm reading or drawing! Most likely reading, however. Right now, I'm reading three series; Maximum Ride, the third time I'm reading through the series, Warriors, the seventeenth time I'm reading through the series(My record on a book read most times by me is Book 6 of the first series- I've read it over 300 times in 3 years!), and the manga version of Warriors. I don't know why I re-read things... Maybe it's instinct?

Banned Books!? -- 09-29-11

Have you lost your minds? You can't ban certain books! Just listing a few... Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, Maximum Ride, Touch the Stars, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and The Hiding Place. These are all great books, and no one should have to deal with being rejected from reading a book! Think about it, every book has a hater, and if that hater got their way, libraries would be abandoned, books confiscated, and maybe even textbooks(Not so sorry about this one)! I would hate a world without books, and I do not support the banning of books! Books should never be banned, and I hold to my opinion. I say, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Read! ~Greeny P.S.: Has anyone else noticed the creepy person in the ad for Voki? It follows your mouse!

13 24 15
13 25 12
13 26 9
13 28 3

The Pets of the Ages! -- 09-15-11

Just so you can learn more information about me, I'm blogging about my pets of my whole life! Here goes!

Crush: A yellow-orange tabby tom-cat. He was fiesty and aggresive to everyone except me. I wasn't mean to him, like my younger siblings. He's about 17 years old now, and that's old for a cat! We had to give him back to his original owner when we moved to California.

Dorcas: A torbie she-cat with pretty amber eyes. She was wild at first. We got her on a trip to my grandparents' house up in the mountains. A neighbor of my grandparents had a cat give birth to kittens, and we got four of them- the ones who were stupid enough to crawl into the trap- and named them Bobby-Socks, Sereka, Dorcus, and Hissy. She was killed by a coyote.

Bobby-Socks: A dark red tabby tom-cat. He was muscular and stubborn, but sweet. He was also a cat we had, but we had to leave him in the mountains; He wouldn't go in a cat carrier. XD He was given to my cousin, but fate took him. A snow-plow took his life in a short 3 minutes. He bled to death.

Sereka: A dark flowing gray she-cat. Aggressive and bold, this she-cat would do anything to rule the roost! She was sweet and kind to most people, but not to her owner, my grandmother. My grandfather ended up shooting Sereka, at age 9 months out of aggressiveness for his wife.

Hissy: A light gray tom cat with red-amber eyes. He snarled, hissed, and scratched. We ended up releasing him and he ultimately ended up being killed by Sereka.

Magnum(Maverick): A black Cocker Spaniel. He was frightened of everything. We had been his third owners in a mere 2 months. As a puppy he had been abused, and we had no idea at the moment. He ended up biting a two-year old's eye, and we put him to sleep.

Phoebe: A black-brown Lab mix. She is hyper and energetic, and the sweetest dog ever. She loves to romp and play and perks up at the word 'squirrel'. She is living today in my house, as a four-year old Christmas dog. (She was born on Christmas)

Bear: A dark gray tabby tom with blue eyes. He was a Maine-Coon Persian mix, and he loved to bite. When we moved here, to Colorado Springs, we gave him to our friends, and he is living on a farm in Wisconsin as a happy farm cat.

The Triplets: An Albino Mouse, Sparkle, a brown white speckled mouse, Ollie, and a white mouse called Chesta. Our beloved mice, also known as the triplets. Sparkle died of disease last year, about a week from Christmas. Only Ollie lives on, now. Chesta died last week on Saturday. It was from old age...

Liam: The rabbit. He's white with ginger splotches, and he's heavy! For the longest time, Phoebe wanted to eat him. We stopped that pretty darn fast. He's going to be a year old on March 24th.

Royal Sushi: The Betta fish! Man, I loved him. He was a peach color, with red fins. When he fluffed himself out, his fins were streaked with blue. He died at the age of seven months. He was my second pet who was mine, and mine alone.

Tiny Tim(T.T.): The Betta fish! My mom ran a babysitting business back in Summer, and Thomas, the kid she watched, saw me cry over Royal Sushi dying(Trust me, I was heart-broken), so he brought me Tiny Tim! He was small, dark blue, with pink tints. He died at the age 3 months.

Spike: The Betta fish! Once Tiny Tim died, I got him the next day. He's red with almost black fins, and his fins are tipped white, giving him his name, Spike. He has 'spikes' of white on his fins. Get it? XD He's the most recent addition to this family.

I'll update this blog when I get a new pet! Or when one dies...

Greeneyes Story- Part Two -- 09-13-11

By then, I was an apprentice. I was known as Greenpaw, and my mentor was Dawnlight. I was a proud she-cat. Maybe too proud, but hey, I was young and reckless. Turns out, I really liked Adderkit-now Adderpaw- alot. He was just so handsome, with his long black fur... Oh great, I'm getting off topic. Oh well... Getting back to the story... About a moon later, The foxes raided MapleClan's camp, also with CedarClan's and WillowClan's. We were frightened of everything. We decided to fight. We stormed the foxes' camp and fought. Was I cocky! When the foxes lunged into battle, all I heard was the pounding of blood in my ears as a fox barrled into me. Angered, I bit down hard on a fox's leg and it barked and growled, lashing to get me off. I held fast, however, until I saw Larksong go down in a flurry of teeth and blood. I yowled angrily and let go, and dragged Larksong out of the heat of battle. She was limp. She felt too limp. I was worried, but then I felt her breathing, but it was slight. I held back tears. "Don't die," I begged softly around her scruff "don't die." When the medicine cat was taking care of her, I ran back into the fight. A few minutes later I was half dead, loosing blood. Fast. I had managed to take out the leader, but that was about it. I recovered for many days, and soon, I found out about... The... Secret. This horrifying secret I never told anyone before. This is what life is!

Weirdest Moment?! -- 09-13-11

Oh my gosh, you weren't kidding when you said this blog was going to be 'funny', Ms. Lubich! Here's my story. When I was about eight years old, I lived in California. I loved the beach, everything was about the beach. Everything was great and happy and fun and warm and wet and sandy... Those were the days. One day, on my eighth birthday, my parents took me down to the beach. I was having tremendous fun, letting the waves carry me slowly back to shore. At that time, I was beginning to learn how to surf. When I reached where the water was just to me knees, I stood up. There was a large crab stuck to my hair. I screamed bloody murder! I tried getting it off, but all it did was fasten its other claw on my, catching my eyelid. I was terrified. We got the crab off, and luckily I wasn't harmed. I was just emotionally scarred for life. To this day, I'm scared of the tiniest little crab, the tiniest bit of red flashing by my face. This is something I will never forget.

Rachel's Challenge -- 09-06-11

Emotion. Greif. This story touched hearts of millions, across the Nation. Rachel is someone who everyone should act life. This was a definitely important thing to see and hear about. Last year it brought tears to my eyes. This year, it made me full out sob. This world is full of hate and anger. If only we could make is never seem to exist, now that’s a perfect world. This was defiantly a needed assembly. It teaches tweens and teens about compassion and understanding. This is something I would and never will forget. My legacy starts today.

Greeneyes' Story- Part One -- 09-06-11

This is an off-hand story that I'm writing. Just an extra thing that'll leave you wanting more to it!

Stumbling into an abandoned hollow is one thing. Stumbling into a fully inhabited hollow is a whole different one. I remember that day when I padded into MapleClan's camp. Here is my story... Injured and weak, I took a look around with my one good eye; the one that wasn't shredded beyond belief. All I could see was dozens of yellow, blue, amber, and green eyes staring at me. 'Crap.' I thought in desperation. I felt someone grab my scruff and I wailed. "Let me go! Let me go!" I demanded in my high kitten voice. The she-cat set me down and looked at me. Her soft blue eyes made me loose all aggression for these new cats. "Little one, quiet." She pressed some cobweb onto my eye and ear, which also had a nick. It stung, but in a good way. I gave a little smile at her. Some other kits walked my way. "Hi," a brown tabby tom chirped. "I'm Hawkkit, this is Adderkit, Emberkit, Crystalkit, and Laurelkit." He said, pointing to each kitten in turn. "What's your name?" He asked. I shook off my own name and gave myself a newer one. "Greenkit," I said randomly, praying that my odd eye- My blue one- was the one closed and I'd have a reason to be called Greenkit. Hawkkit snorted. "No way, you don't have green fur!" I rolled my eyes. "Where are your wings, Hawkboy?" I retorted bitterly. This went on for a bit until Pebblestar, the leader, pulled us apart. One cat in particular liked me. Her name was Larksong. She was a dusty brown tabby she-cat with green eyes. She took me in and raised me. Everything was perfect, for once in my life. My surrogate mother was Dawnlight, and her kits took me in as their own sister. I had never had such fun in my life. Watching from the nursery as Laurelkit and Crystalkit became Crystalpaw and Laurelpaw... Ah, those were the days. A moon passed, and I was four moons old. Adderkit and Emberkit were five moons old. It went smoothly until the foxes came. It was living hell.

Some notes:
You've probably seen some things that you didn't know what they meant. Here's something for future references.
Twolegs: Humans, as what the cats call them
She-cats: A female cat with no kits
Tom: A male cat
Queen: A female cat with kits
Apprentice: A six-moon old cat training to be a warrior
Kit: A cat too young to be an apprentice, also known as a kitten
Warrior: Toms and She-cats without kits
Moon: A month
Clan: A group of cats
Names: An apprentice has 'paw' at the end of their name, a kitten has 'kit' at the end of their name, and a warrior has some feature describing their appearance or personality, such as Greeneyes. She has green eyes

Hope you enjoy!
