The Marks family come from Russia to Germany to America.They escaped from The Pale, because the pogrom attacked the pale just because they were jewish. So they escaped over night. Most of the people in the pale escaped too. then they came on a boat. When they arrived in America the had to go through a health inspection at ellis island.The great thing was that they passed the test. Now to make a living.

One day a boy named Tom. He was eating lunch at his house, he had a P,B, and J sandwich and a glass of milk. It was a rainy day and there was scarcely enough sun out. After lunch he went to his room and looked at all f his prized possessions. He liked to scrutinize them and fined things that he had never seen before.

After a wile he went down stairs for dinner. By then his dad had already come home. At at the dinner table Tom’s mom told Tom a shocking thing. “Tom we have something to tell you. Were moving!” “WHAT” Tom said. He was very mad. His mom said it was going to be a venture. Tom was so Keen that he new there wasn't going to be a venture.

Then all of the sudden he woke up it was all a dream!!

Today I finished my math lab. It was about volume, and we used a graduated cylinder. We measured small marbles and big marbles. Then we had an art adventure it was about origami. We made a bird,a paper ballon,and a boat.It was so fun.Ginger Zee came to are school.She is a meteorologist .she told us about weather and how it works .this weak was so fun.It is the best week ever!

I went to Florida for winter break It was so fun beacause, we went to Disnsy World.My favorite ride at Disney World is big thunder mountain.It was thefunest ride I have been on, coolest part about the ride is I went on it at night.I love Disney World.

The boy and grandma ma set of to the castle.It took them weeks to get there. But they finaly made it.They booked a room in the village,and in the morning they set off. They started to walk to the castle they walked through mountans and the forest. At last they finily got there.Then he ran to the big double doors. But then all of the sudden 3 witches came around the corner, they saw the mouse. then they kwickly grabbed him. grandma ma! grandma ma! the boy/mouse said,but she didnt hear him. How will this story end?

During my thanksgiving brake I had so much fun.one of the things I did was I watched the movie Avatar, it was very long.then Iwent to Chicago, we stayed for a day and then we went to china town with my friends. At night we set of mini fire works they spun around and made green fire it was really cool.That was my thanksgiving!

Gems can be found all over the world. They are mostly found underground. Miners get gems from the earths crust . Emeralds are more valuable then diamonds. Emeralds can be carved into figures. Minerals are made of millions of particles called atoms. some gems have flat sides and some have sharp sides. For the ones that have sharp sides they have to use a cutter to make it smooth. Quarts grow very large . Quarts are cool to look at. gems are very very festinating!!!!!

I am reading a book called The Cheese Colored Camper, By Geronimo Stilton. I is about mouse and the mouse family that goes on a adventure to Nebraska in a cheese colored camper.It is a realy funny because the mouse gets into lots of trouble.
