They are ugly. I hate them and they Are nasty. I really don't know anything about then and I never want to touch them. We have Madagascar cockroaches in a tank in our class and they are gross.If I had it as a pet, I'd kill it.

for the past few weeks we have been doing a plant experiment!,my group did lima beans and we got a lot of interesting facts about them and we learned a lot and we put them on the roof of the school so they could get sun light and we put one with a lot of water and one with less water and it failed because over spring break it rained almost everyday so it added more water and it flooded the lima beans and made them all moldy and rotten and they stunk really bad so, they didn't even grow at all on even a sprout or anything... its kinda a bummer that it didn't work but we made a video about it and its on youtube!!!

everyone can help stop global warming. we need to recycl as much as we can!! should everyone have something to do with this? yes everyone can help change our world one step at a time if the temperature gets to high and contiuns to do this the artic will melt and the animals will die because they have no where to go. so do what you can and recycl as much as you can to do your part!!

my group and i were experimenting with the microscope mr.G our science teacher gave us a feather to study. when we got the feather we looked at it under 10x zoom each strand of the feather was like it haad been crimped into very small micorscopic curls it was super interesting to see what a feather looks like under a micorscope

the amobia and paramicia are both singal celled organisums,but the elodia is has multiple cells.the elodia is independant which means that it doesnt need the paramicia,or amobia to live on its own,but the amobia and paramicia needs other cells to surviive.

the steps of mitoses is first interphase cells usually dont look active in this stage this is the longest cell cycle, prophase is next the nucleas fades and condenses into chromosones. promophase is when nuclear envelope breaks the metaphase is when the tension fibers slighn all chromosones. the anaphase makes the spindle fibers shorten. telophase is the daughter of all chromosones arrive at the poles the last step is cakotinesis is the spindle fiber are not attached to chromosones begin breaking down

My class has been studing genetics and we have some traids from each parent like i have my blonde hair is a resessive trate and so are my blue eyes from my mom and my tallness is dominate from my dad. I get my good vision from my mom and that is a resessive trate. My stright hair is a Recessive traits om my mother.this is the genetics of me!!

My lunch consisted of water, a sourdough sandwich with chicken and lettuce. Carrot sticks, and potato chips.
Our food traveled from a variety of places, it all traveled 2,098.1 miles to get to my plate. Thats 7762.97 pounds of CO2 that wasput into the atmosphere. Thats equivelent to an elephant!!!!

So....my group and I decited to swab the door handle,toilet seat,locker room locker and the lunch table for bacteria. We zig zaged the q tip to hard and the food broke. The next day we checked it and there was no bacteria except in one spot on the toilet seat side. We think the bacteria couldn't grow cuz we broke there food.

Paramecia is a microscopic living organism that eats bread.it also lives in water.They move evereywhere in all directions. We had difficulties trying to absurve the paramecia because they move quick.they look like little clear bubbles that are shaped like little squggles.also they can reproduce by eating food they just get cut in half lath wise and then there are 2 of them and the multiply like crazy andnthen you'll have a hole cup of microscopic paramecia.

Our question was how do different liquids affect the yeast, We found that the ones with salt in them they smell the worst.the sugar water smells better because the yeast takes in sugar. The evidence was that the liquids changed over time. so the airs were we forgot to get balloons for measuring our data.

2.Davey's battery's were not practical because they were the size of a classroom.

This pamphlet will provide you with information about how fresh water pollution can be caused and prevented.
What is water pollution?

A. Fresh water pollution is when there is from the ocean and land that drink the water get sick and could die. They die from people dumping waste in the water.

What can be done to improve the quality of water after it has been polluted?

A. Pick up trash around the water and recycle properly. Get people educated about water pollution.

What are some actions that can be taken to help prevent water from being polluted?

A. Recycle properly. And add in less household cleaners and chemicals. Don’t throw trash from your boat into the water.

What are nitrates and how do they get in are water?

A. Nitrate is a natural compound present in all ecosystem. It is one of the chemicals essential to plant life but too much can be a problem for plants and animals. It is also a component of chemical and mature based fertilizer.
Nitrates can enter watercourses and ponds from sources such as areas of high fertilizer use, livestock feedlots and pastures, and sewage treatment areas.

What effects do high nitrates levels have on people?

A. Well it caused blue baby syndrome that put big effect on people.

What is considered to be the safe level for nitrates in drinking water?

A. Under 10 mg /l no.

What should a person do if there are high nitrates in their water supply?

A. If you are pregnant try to avoid drinking water on a daily basis from that source. You should call your water supply company right away.

What can be done to prevent nitrates from entering our water supply?

A. Reduce the high fertilization dig tile drains deeper in the ground. This will prevent nitrates in your water.

What are point and non point sources of pollution and what are the differences between the two?

A. A point source of pollution is when you know what’s causing it. A non point source is when you don’t know what causing it. The difference is that one can be traced and one can’t.

We hope that you try and get people educated about fresh water pollution because it is becoming a huge problem.
