Many of you wrote that the VA Declaration of Rights and the VA Statute of Religious Freedom were written FOR the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. You better go back and check your facts again! The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights did not even exist yet when the VA documents were written. About five years later, the VA documents were used as a BASIS for those other documents, but they most definately were NOT written FOR them. Please go back and make any changes you need to make in your articles. Thank you!

This week's assignment is due on Thursday (tomorrow) ... "Patriot or Loyalist?" Some of you have already submitted articles on this topic! I would advise you to be careful with your spelling. You can change the meaning of your sentence simply by misspelling a word. I usually know what you mean because I know you, but remember, the rest of the world can view your writing. You want to put your best writing out there and make sure what you type is what you mean to say.
