Dear Classmates,

I am enjoying my book.

What is the main characters’ favorite sport? The main character in the book is Jackson and his favorite sport is football. My favorite sport is also football. Isn’t that interesting?

Where does the book take place? The book is mainly , so far, taking place at the school where Jackson goes.

Nerds

Dear Classmates,

I am reading Nerds by Michael Buckley. I just started this book and I really like it.

The question I did is What happened to Brand in the accident? Another question is How many teeth did Jackson have? Another question is Why is everyone calling Jackson names? Did Jackson want braces? How did he find out that Jackson has four rows of 62 teeth.

How to Train a Drgon

Article posted October 22, 2009 at 08:38 PM GMT-5 • comment • Reads 118

Dear Classmates,

I am currently reading How to Train a Dragon. I think you will like it if you like books that have a lot of action in them. This book has a lot of that.
I have a prediction. I predicted that Hiccup was going to get the best dragon out of them all. But my prediction was wrong. He got the worst dragon of them all. I figured this out from page 20 in the book.
Text to self is another thing I did. My text to self was that I am scared of dragons too like Hiccup and the rest of the tribe.

Sincerely,
DP

Max Quigley Technically NOT a Bully

Dear Classmates,

I am reading Max Quigley Technically NOT a Bully by James Roy. This is the first time a have read a book by James Roy and I like it. Maybe I will try to find more books by him.
I have made one connection with this book. In this book, Nerdstrom helps people with math, and I also help people with math. I don’t think I am a lot like Nerdstrom in other ways though. Nerdstrom is not really athletic, but I like to play lots of sports.
I think that Max is going to throw up again. I think this because he ate too many cheesecakes at the Cheesecake Factory and usually when people eat too much sugar they throw up.

The Report Card

Dear Classmates,

I’m reading The Report Card By Andrew Clements if you like fiction you will like this book.

I made a prediction this week and I predicted that they will get unsuspended that was confirmed because they did get unsuspended. I thought this would happen because this is the way books usually end. They usually have a happy ending.

I also made another prediction about this book. This prediction was that I thought Stephen was going to save the whole thing with his speech, but this prediction was wrong. It was actually Nora who saved the whole thing. She saved it with her speech. I was surprised by this. Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you read this book someday too.

Dear Classroom,
The book I am reading The Report Card by: Andrew Clements. It is a fiction book and it is a great book but, it might be just because I like Andrew Clements.
One strategy I used was text to self. I had a connection with my dad and me every time I am on the phone with him he never gave me an of time to sat good bye. He calls me every day and I tell him that but he still does it.
happy reading,
dp
