Pendragon the Merchant of Death

Article posted December 10, 2009 at 06:35 PM GMT-5 • comment • Reads 434

Dear future reader,

I am still reading the book Pendragon the Merchant of Death by D.J. MacHale.

The questions and answers I came up with. Why is Mallos so dangerous?Give one example.

Mallos is so dangerous because he can take control of other peoples bodies like at the train station in second earth he took control of the police man's body.

Why are the Milago so mad at the Bedoowan in Denduren? Give one example.

The Milago are mad at the Bedoowan because they are put to slavery from the Bedoowan. The Milago are also mad at the Bedoowan because if the Milago don't mine enough glaze (to find how much glaze they had a sea saw contraption and but a guy on one side and the glaze on the other side) if the guy on the one side goes up Mallos' Knights push him into a trap door an the guy hit the groud and SPLAT! I guess you know what happens next.

Sincerely,
AK

Dear future Reader,

I am reading the book called Pendragon the Merchant of Death and is written D. J. MacHale. It is a great read if you like mystery/adventure type books.

Here are some questions to answer if you read this book. Why did Saint Dane try to kill Bobby? Why did the police not believe Mark and Courtney? Why did Loor not think Bobby was the traveler? Why did Bobby think Osa was magic? How and why did the big guy die and who did it?

Your classmate,
AK

The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey

Article posted October 1, 2009 at 06:26 PM GMT-5 • comment (1) • Reads 116

Dear future reader,

I am reading a great book called The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey by Trenton Lee Stewart and it is the sequel to The Mysterious Benedict Society. It is a great book to read if you like problem solving adventure type books.

Here are some strategies that I used while I was reading. I mostly used predicting, like I predicted that Kate would steal the Dictionary. PC - Kate broke in snuck into Mr. Benedict’s study. Inferred that Constance was nervous because she was squirming in her seat. I also inferred that Constance was extremely unhappy because she was cursing at her friends.

Happy Reading,
AK

Dear future reader,

I just finished a great book called The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. It is a great book to read if you like problem solving adventure type books.

Here are some strategies that I used while I was reading. I mostly used predicting, like I predicted that Kate and Constance will save the day. PC - Kate broke in and Constance resisted the Whisperer. I predicted that Sticky will resist the Whisperer. PW - Constance resisted the Whisperer. I also wondered where are they going to go for the mission, and they went to the Institute.

Happy Reading,

AK
