Wow! Look at those big pumpkins!
On Friday the 4th of April our school pupils had Pumpkin Day. It was in our hall. The things that you had to enter was the heaviest, minikin family, decorated pumpkins, weirdest shape, most orange, savoury and sweet cooking, best dressed and best like the principal.
We had to get scales from the vet. The heaviest pumpkin was 50 kg! At the end of the day we had games. There was overs and unders, minikin and spoon, accuracy throw, pumpkin rolling and partner throw. For lunch we had a sausage sizzle. They were one dollar, and we had pumpkin fritters and they were free. They were nice. I bought two sausages, one for me and one for my mum. I entered minikin family and the heaviest pumpkin. My pumpkin was 23 kg. Rooms 1,2,3,4 were only allowed to do it.

Yes! Kereru got the first and second fastest swimmers in the school.
On Friday 7th of March we had swimming sports. The house groups were chanting and cheering. We had to demonstrate freestyle, backstroke, dolphin dives, gliding, sculling, 4 arm strokes, 2 lengths and flutterboard. I was excited. In points Tui won the points table.

The best part was looking at the African Hunting Dogs. They look cool. I like their colours. I learned that there was a Mexican Walking Fish.

When I was at home I saw people speeding. They were naughty. They were teenagers. They had sped so fast that they made the road not nice. It had all these tyre marks. They were burning their tyres out. They left my road and they went to Hairini and did heaps of burnout marks. They did heaps of spins, round and round in circles.
