We are senior or former students of Puahue School. Some of us want to keep blogging and some of us have moved on to other places in the world, but our blogs remain a record of our learning at primary school.

Hello,
My name is Ali and I am here to tell you about the zoo visit.
The best part was seeing all of the animals, going for a walk, seeing the class room, the baby rino and going to see the chimps sleeping area.
I learned that people get cofescated goods like tusks and bear skins.

Hello, do you want to come with me to hear about my lamb mammy?
Ok come on let's go.
My lamb mammy has a lot of wool not anymore... ... because she died on Friday night the 10 of August. Brianna her dad [Shane] killed my lamb mammy because mum and dad were getting sick of her. I thought she was having a lamb this season but she didn't. Mammy's birthday was coming about 1 week. There is still blood out side by the orange tree where she died. Mammy was a fantastic friend to me and when she noticed me she would wait for me to get the washing off the line and fill up her water container. Mammy has lived in heaps of places. Do you want me to name them... ...ok first she lived on my mums bosses farm and her mum died.It was a big suprise when we found her under the table curled up when we got home from school. There was a bottle on the table and the nights that went past i feed her in the hut,and the back of the house. once our aunty brang her lambs and mammy and her lambs slept in the hut. me and my cousin feed them at night.
sorry i have to go and help mum cook tea i think its mammy thank you for reading my story about my lamb bye.

Electricity is a type of energy. Electricity is found in homes, workplaces and nature. Some things we use with electricity almost every day are lights, television, fridges and washing machines.
In nature the most powerful electricity thing is lightning. When ice and water rub together in a cloud they make electricity. Lightning can jump from cloud to cloud. Lightning can also strike (hit) objects on the ground.
Batteries store electricity in them. Some stuff that uses batteries are torches, cameras, remote controls and some toys.
Solar power are found on roofs. Solar power are to heat up hot water and make electricity. After the electricity is made it goes to towns and houses to be used.

First I’ll tell you about Lester. Lester is a boy puppet and Kath was the ventriloquist. Ventriloquist is when you talk with your mouth shut. Lester was talking about him getting locked in his room so he didn’t have to go to school.
Now I’ll talk to you about Annalise and the magic red balls. Bill had a magic red ball and so did Annalise. Bill said that Annalise’s ball will jump into his hands but………..it didn’t. Bills ball jumped into Annaliese’s hands. Ha ha ha ha went the crowd. Annaliese opened her hands and started laughing. Bill got her balls and said well done=http://=http://!
Oh I forgot about Dan. Dan is a dancer he could dance any ways. Like break dancing. Kayden was controling dan.

“Fluffy!” I called, shaking her biscuit container. “come on. I have to feed you before I go to netball.”
Fluffy is a black and white cat that can fly when I tell her to. Fluffy has birds every second day for breakfast. Fluffy goes into the sky and kills 17 birds a day for breakfast and next week. She eats cat biscuits and birds each day. Sometimes the family goes fishing. We are all old enough to catch fish. Every day we go for a swim in the swimming pool. But one day something strange happened. The pool went somewhere. It was a big mess. But Fluffy went away to get magic to get the swimming pool back.
“Fluffy!” we called.
“It is bed time children,” said Mum.
“Come on we’ll do this in the morning.”
“Morning, get up. Breakfast time,” said Mum.
“We have to tidy that mess up,” I said.
I got up and looked outside.
“Mum!” I said. “I think Fluffy has done this with her magic.”
The family went outside. It said I LOVE MY FAMILY on the ground from her claw.
Fluffy had gone.
We need Fluffy to go to the magic black and white cat show. We have to win the prize. I know what the prize is. It is five thousand dollars.
“We need to win the prize to go on holiday to a beach,” I said.
“It’s lunchtime,’ said Dad. “After lunch you have to make your bed.”
Lunch was set.
I had some lunch and went upstairs to make my bed.
“Dad did you make our beds?”
“No”.
Fluffy was sleeping on a piece of paper. It said: I have done lunch, and made everyone’s bed. I came back from the wild cats. I’m not going there again ever.
“We have to go to the black and white cat show now. Come on we have to go, okay?”
When we got there we had to put Fluffy on this desk thing and tidy Fluffy up.
‘Okay, we are beginning to do the black and white cat show. Please sit down.’
“Mum, Dad, this is great – all the decorating.”
The first cat is …Fluffy! She looks great. Onto the next cat – Pluto. She looks awesome. The next cat is Philip. Not good but still cool. The last cat is Possom. It looks like a real posssom. Good work people. Now it is time to introduce the winner.
“The winner will be …FLUFFY!”
Mum and Dad jumped up and down. We have won!
“You, the Bruntons, come and stand up the front. You have won five thousand dollars and a week to go on a holiday.”
When we got back from holiday there was a beautiful red swimming pool with bright blue water ready to be swum in.

My name is Ali and I am here to tell you about my sister. My sister is 12 years years old. She works at the cow shed and milks cows. She goes to intermediate school. She likes playing bullrush, hide go seek, and blind mans bluff. She helps me with my homework and we cook together for tea and make toasties and noodles.
