Monster Story

Article posted November 24, 2009 at 08:40 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1397

Once upon a time on Wednesday 21 of October Paul had to go to Foodtown to get some food. Paul was going into the next aisle to get the bread.
He turned the corner and froze in fear when he saw a large face right in front of him. The creature looked like a monster. It was huge and hairy. Two large, yellow eyes stared at him. It had large pointed ears that twitched and sharp teeth with fangs on each side. The beast bared its teeth and took a step forward.
Paul pulled a gun from his underwear and shot him dead.
No! It was my pet cat Fluffy.
Fluffy I can’t believe you’re dead.

MONSTER PROJECT

Article posted October 21, 2009 at 10:47 PM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 373

I am working with Paul and were making the body and the right eye.  The oozing part was tricky.  First I had to find out what that word means and then I had to figure out how to make it ooze on my eye.  I used blobs of hot glue and I painted them yellow.

In the weekend I went to Paul’s house for his birthday. We played PS3 and ate lollies and cake. The food was yum. Paul got lots of presents. Paul has two dogs, one called Falcon and one called Fairlane. We played cops and robbers. We were the robbers and the girls were the cops. Wade and some more boys like Ben and Caleb. It was fun. I had a good time. It was fun. Paul has a big brother, his name is Jhai, and he has a little brother, Tama.

The Livewires

Article posted August 24, 2009 at 11:16 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 365

The Livewires live in the Waipa District, New Zealand. Some people live in Te Awamutu but some people live in Kihikihi. Ten people live in town and 14 live on farms.
There are lots of farms. Most of them are dairy farms. Some people work for Open Country Cheese and some people work for Fonterra.
The district also has crops of maize. Ten thousand people live in the district.
Some small volcanoes are actually volcanoes. Luckily they are extinct. Maungatautari is special because it is a bird sanctuary. It has a 50 km fence to stop pests such as ferrets, stoats, rats, mice, possums and dogs.

A rock for a toy?

A rock for a toy? I agree. Here are my reasons. You can make a car. Use round stones for wheels and a straight long one for a top.

Big green glowing eyes, shining in the dark
Disappearing slowly, silently into the night.
Stripey, sneaky, hear him meow.
