A new,fun week is coming up: Heritage week! It is a fun way to show your nationality. People all over the world celebrate traditions, depending on the country they are in(Russia have their traditions, etc.)Speaking of it, introducing my culture!
Culture is a way of life (rituals, art, etc.) The Chinese culture is one from the country of China. The following holidays are ones I celebrate.Chinese New Year is the celebration of the new year, almost similar to America's new year.
Chinese food is a mix of agriculture and modern food from the present. Some include fried rice, chicken, and dumplings.
Chinese dance includes combinations of graceful and smooth movements.Sometimes it includes sharp and quick movements. One of the dances that I know is the Chinese Dragon Dance.
Chinese music includes a variety of instruments, such as flutes, violins, pianos, you name it.Some forms of singing are chinese opera, some rock, and partly country music.
Because of being in America, I became mostly american. But I still follow some traditions of the family.I follow there steps in their tradition. We celebrate chinese new years and sometimes some others.
Your tradition is yours to keep, so be true to your tradition. See you in my next blog.

Have you ever wondered what your passion is?Well a passion is a talent or pastime that you enjoy and that your good at,such as acting or dancing. Now thats something to write about.
One of my passions is doing science experiments. I like trying and testing theories using science.I often think of new ideas from curiosity. They also lead me to new creations and inventions. And by the way, science is the study of life and reactions to life, like pressure in volcanos make them explode. One of my creative inventions is a battery charger made of a magnet and a plug (I got that idea when I used only a magnet to charge batteries.'Actually works with a strong magnet.)
Speaking of science, that is not my only passion. I also enjoy typing because sometimes I type fast and get work done faster.Running and jogging are my favorite outdoor activities.Hanging out and being social are also entertainment around the corner. If you have a passion, what would it be?

When I heard I had to go to the conference, I was starting to panic. But I decided it was fair about going and talking of improvment and strengths(skills).
[Note: I didn't really go to the conference,so I'm typing it as if I went to the conference (don't think I'm out of my mind).]
At the conference I was part nervous and part telling my self to calm down.I felt like it would take forever to talk. The teacher said I was mostly quiet during class time and that I had to be included in conversations more.I was disapointed about the bad comments that I felt like I was going to break a pencil.'This is not going to work well',I thought when I was about to chat with my parents. We talked about getting into conversations and improvments needed. After the chat, we went to my brothers and sisters classes for their conference(I had to keep out,of course).

My favorite book that I recommend to all readers is called "Bridge to Terabithia". It is written by Katherine Paterson. The book is about a boy and a girl who use their imagination to create their own world and become king and queen of their world.
I chose this book because it teaches about fear and courage. You should read it to find out all the details and excitment of this full-of-adventure story full of fear and courage. Its a very fun and cool story full of imagination

Acceptence and Empathy

My book in my reading group is about a girl named Hattie who has a disabled uncle named Adam. His parents wanted perfect children and, therefore, don't accept him.
I remember once when I wasn't accepted because my friends thought I was annoying and aggravating. I was following them around and that was aggravating them. That was like when Adam was driving his parents nuts because he was acting like a child instead of like a grown man.I felt a little mad when I wasn't accepted.I knew I wasn't accepted because they were saying things like "Get out of here, pesky rat." I decided to leave them alone and keep a long distance from them.I don't have to hear another dirty comment from them ever since I keep my distance.
In the book, Adam doesn't seem to care if he is accepted or not. I am not like Adam because not being accepted bothers me. I wish I was a little like Adam because then I wouldn't care if I wasn't accepted.
I remember when I wasn't accepting of someone else.Someone was my friend until I said I liked being by myself. That was like when Adam's parents like to have perfect children as their way of their likes. I wasn't showing acceptance because I wasn't hanging out with friends anymore.Next time, I'm going to hang out with friends at recess.
This is all about acceptance and empathy.

Erosion(wind): One thing that I learned is that wind erosion causes defaltion. One thing that I learned about demonstrating is to know your line, when to say it,and not to get promted so much.
Erosion(water): One thing that I learned is that water erosion can break off pieces from rocks and stones. One thing I learned from demonstrating is to show some examples from your research.
Lakes: One thing that I learned is that glaciers can form lakes. One thing that I learned from presenting is to use words that catch the audience's attention.
Deltas: One thing that I learned is that a delta can sometimes create an island. One thing that I learned from presenting is to make the presentation interesting.
Mountains: One thing that I learned is that plates push together to form mountains. One thing that I learned about presenting is to make some parts look real.
Islands: One thing that I learned is that volcanos created islands. One thing that I learned about presenting is to give a lot of information.
