Our field trip

On Monday our class had a field trip that took place in regina at the Makenzie Art Gallary and the R.C.M.P. Heritage Centre. We learned about the treaties and the history of the R.C.M.P. We took a tour and saw many cool things like a mystery exibit where you have to find out who killed the person, 9mm cannon, and a gold plated mini gun!
At the Makenzie Art Gallary We viewed some famous artist's work. There was one artist who found pictures from books and enlarged our made it smaller and they had some really cool paintings. on one of the picture he made Haleys comet out of a picture that was hundreds of years old found in a book!
Another artist was an amazing sketcher she drew her hometown with overlapping peices of paper all sketched! It was alot of fun.
I overall enjoyed the day alot and had lots of fun with friends. I especially liked the GIGANTIC slurpee I got from 7/11.Sorry I couldn't remember the artists names!

Track And Field

June 5fth was track and field. This year we had Rockglen and Cornach over. I was in the grade 6 group. I like long jump triple jump and 200 meter. We were quite late because everyone was so good at high jump we were 40 min behind. I got third in 400 meter and second in triple jump. One kid named Kade Eger got first in everything except shot put,100, and triple jump. I met some friends that I made last year and made some new ones. We were 40 min late for lunch and then we finally ate! Although all my mom's cookies were sold out when we got to eat >:( . I had a really fun day!

Dance Competition

I was SO nervous I almost bit my whole nail off! That is of course because we had a dance competition. We stayed for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.I didn't dance on Friday but I did on Saturday and Sunday. I had jazz and hip hop.
In hip-hop we danced to the song I
Got A Feeling by the Chipmunks and not Black Eyed Peas. We got silver in hip-hop out of 7 groups!
In jazz we danced to Smooth Criminal and I think we either tied for gold or got silver, but I'm happy with anything because it's my first year. I'll pick up my jazz and hip hop medals on friday.
I had alot of fun dancing on stage :).
And that was my very nervous competition.

Mackenzie Art Gallery

Yesterday, someone from the Mackenzie art gallery came over to our school. They showed us some cool Saskatchewan art. My favorite painting was a picture of a cow in perfect detail from 1898! It was made with water colour paint. There were also some other cool paintings like a native buffalo hunt and some portraits. There were some paintings made with oil based paints and some with water colour. After we viewed all of the paintings, the man showed us how to draw a highway from 1st person view in a car. It was all so simple he showed us how to make everything look smaller as it got farther away, by using triangles! we drew our own pictures and helped clean up the room, then we left. It was super fun.

Pie is my favorite food. I love pie so much I had a birthday pie instead of a cake. My favorite type is my moms apple cinamon. It is soooooooooooooo good. this year my dad said I could shove my face in my pie! I might learn how to make one so I can make one whenever I want. This year my mom is making a pie just for me and one for everybody else! Pie is the BEST!

Christmas 2011

On Christmas, my sister and I woke up at eight and waited for our parents to wake up. Eventually we just woke them up and started to open presents. In my stocking I got some Toblerone chocolate and chocolate money. For presents the first one I oppened was Modern Warfare 3. The second one I got was a remote controll helicopter. The third was an asus computer tablet. We opened our presents while on Skype with my sister Kyla in Vancouver. We chatted and played with our toys. But in Kyla's time it was only 6:00 so no one else was up. Eventually we said our good byes and stopped the Skyping. After that we prepared supper and played with our toys in the spare time. My sister's present was her visiting Kyla in Vancouver for 4 days. Overall I think this was the best Christmas ever!

Transformicee is a free online game on several websites but the most popular way to get there is through kongregate.com. On transformicee you need an acount. In transformicee you are a mouse that needs to find the cheese and bring it to the mouse hole. to move you use the awsd keys or left right up and down keys. once you get enough cheese you can buy accessories for your mouse. the accsessories vary from hair to mustache to shaman hat! There are many accessories and looks. the least anything costs is 25 cheese the most is 4001 cheese. it is a very fun simple game with some physics in it too ( when you are shaman. Being shaman is using objects to help the mice get to the cheese. you make lots of objects like baloons boxaes and platforms. Good luck. enjoy.

Last weekend was Thanksgiving. We went to our neighbours from church. Alot of people came to eat. Everyone brought something. We brought potatoes and salad. But there was cranberry sauce,turkey,ham,salad,potatoes,pie and other foods. We all had a big feast and a good time. The food was delicious and the desserts... pie... We had a very good time and everyone enjoyed it. I hope you enjoyed yours.

Pass,Punt And Kick

Last Tuesday it was Pass,Punt and Pick. Pass Punt and Kick is where you use a football and throw for pass, hold the ball and kick it for punt, and kick is where you put the ball on a stand and boot it. There were two different age groups. The groups were ten and under and twelve and under.I was in the ten and under group. In the ten and under group there were five people. The first event was pass. We got to try 3 times. A kid named Chance won. But I won punt and kick. We could only choose one so I chose punt. I chose punt because that is my event I'm best at. There are several places we compete. If we win in all the events then we get to go in a Riders game at half time. Hopfully I keep winning and get to the Riders game. Pass,Punt and Kick are very fun events that anyone under 14 can play. That is what Pass,Punt and Kick is all about.

In summer this year I went to Ottowa to visit my cousins. We stayed for 2 weeks. But we went to a multi-sports camp. It was alot of fun. We had fencing,badminton,baseball,
tennis,soccer,feild hockey and rugby. They had the best cafateria food I have ever had in my life. They had full coarse meals and great desserts. My favorite sport was fencing. I love Ottowa.
