On May 10, 2011 it hailed around 3:00 pm. My teacher caught hail from the window. We went down the hall and watched the hail. Mrs. Huseman went out and Mrs. Tucker caught big pieces of hail.

Scotties Fun Spot

April 28, 2011 I went to Scotties Fun Spot after MAP testing. It was really fun going there. When I walked into Scotties Fun Spot I was really exited to be there. It has bumper cars, a mini bonkers, skating and a bunch of cool games.
Oh and they also have Lazer Tag. Lazer Tag is really fun you have to shoot the other team with a lazer gun in the dark with walls surrounding you. There are two teams red and blue. Lazer tag is extremely fun.

ps you should really go if you have'nt

April 26, 2011 a mother eagle was hit by an airplane and we are trying to donate money for her.She was a famous bald eagle. She had 3 babies and this is her 19th baby. She has been famous for 6 years ever since 2006. Everybody watched her in the nest. Her babies were sent to the Wildlife Center in Virginia. I think they will be fine where they are now. I hope they will take care of them very well. I hope they will be very careful.

Easter Weekend

Over the weekend, the day before Easter I went to my aunts sister, Angle and dyed eggs. My aunt Angle, Leianne, Jaden, Hayley were all dying eggs. The next day my older sister Shay and the adults hid the eggs. After a little bit I had to go get Will and Caleb from up the street. Then I found 44 eggs . I found all of my eggs that I dyed. I had a really fun weekend.

What I learned today was how far your paper should be slanted. We also learned how to sit in your chair correcly, to space out your letters and to write neatly. Mrs. Wiley gave Starburst out to everybody.

Eagle information

Article posted February 17, 2011 at 07:35 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 214

I was doing a class research project, it is about eagles. The questoin is what is the scientific name for the bald eagle? The next question is what are the classifications of this magnificent bird? I wrote down the scientific name is Haliaeetus Leacocepauls, the clasifacations are phylsm. chordata, class : Aves, order :Facolcol fame family :A Accipitridae, Genues: Haliaeetus.
My next questions are An eagle hasspeil report characteristice. I have to explore and describe the feathers and eyesight on the bald eagle. I wrout down the bald eagle has 7,000 feathers. An eagle can see almost anything a mile away.
My theerd questions are What are talons and how does the bald eagle use them. It says explain what you think is remarkable about thispart of the bald eagle. I wrout down when bald eagles get a fish they put thier talons in the fish andf carry`s the fish to the nest to eat it. It is remarkabal to claw the side of the fish to pick it up.
the fourth question are how eagles how eagles migrate during winter from the northern areas down to the sourthern areas? the next one is can you explain what miograte means and why thed do it. I wrout down was the first eagle are usually spotted in December and they migrate back north in March. When the water startes to freeze up norththe eagles migrate south to places hite the melrin price Locks and Dam, the Alyon lake section Nation Wildlife Refuge, Pere Marquettc State Park, and the Clarksville area where condtion are favrable.
My last questions are what does an eagles home look like? Whereis it found? Whatis unusual about it? I wrout throuout the season and sometimes even during fall and winter , eagles keep adding stickes to nest and they reuse nests , continuing to build on to them for many years. That huge record - bracking nest in Florida was very old. Paris unually stars a new nest in a living tree though there are often dead trees (``snages``) nearby were they have a view all around when they are reasting near the nest.

Eagle cam watching

I think the eagles body heat is about 107.1 degrees. The mother eagle is just sitting in the nest with the eggs. She is looking around, she is lifting her feathers up really high. She is poking her head up really high. She has been poking her head up a couple of times.
