The most wonderful thing about the Moon is that it is Earth’s moon! Did you know there are 169 moons in our solar system? Jupiter has the most moons which is 63. Wow! The moon is made out of rock and soil. There is gravity on the moon but it is not very strong...Only about 1/6th than Earth does. There is also oxygen on the moon but not as a gas. But the most wonderful thing about the moon is that it is Earth’s moon!

The Awesome thing about Pluto is that it is a “Dwarf planet”. If Earth was a size of a soccer ball Pluto would be a ping-pong ball. Pluto is a freezing cold planet because it is verrryyy far from the Sun. Pluto is the smallest planet in our solar system. It is a little over 2080 kilometers. Pluto is a dwarf planet that orbits far from the Sun. Pluto is about 39 times as far from the Sun as Earth is. Pluto became a dwarf planet on August 24, 2006. But the awesome thing about Pluto is that it is a “Dwarf planet”.

I love soccer also. I also asked them what the climate over there? They answered that it is cold and sunny. The languages they speak over in the classroom is German, Spanish and English. All of them speak German and Spanish and like twelve of them speak English. The name of their school is Goethe Schule, Schule means school in Spanish. They are in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Buenos Aires means good air in German. We asked the kids in there what are there favorite foods and they said pizza and cheeseburgers. We had fun when we Skyped. Then when we were done we sang our state song which is called “Home Means Nevada”. Spiders!

Article posted March 6, 2009 at 07:11 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 566

The cool thing about spiders is that they are invertebrates which means that they do not have backbones. Another thing is that spiders are not insects. Many people think they are related to the insect family but they are not. They are related to the Arachnid family. Did you know that there are more than 30,000 species of spiders. Most spiders have at least six legs or eight. Spiders’s babies come from eggs which means they are oviparous. And The last thing is there is over 100 families in the spiders.

                    Softball Story!

Today I watched a video that was about softball and there was a girl named Sara. She had never hit a home run and that was a goal she has been wanting to accomplish. When she hit the home run it went out past the fence. But when she ran to a base she missed and had to turn back. When she turned back she tore her knee ligaments. She had fell and people surrounded her to see what happened. No one on her team was aloud to touch her. The other team insisted to pick her up and take her to the bases she needed and made her other left foot touch those bases. If her team had helped her the umpire would have had called her out and it would have been just a single. But she actually made a home run. So many people had cried because people had actually had had character at right place, at the right time. I did not really have a reaction to it. It was a pretty cool because people had a heart to help the other team make a point to go to the championships. It did not give me any feeling really, except it was kind of sad.

Blogging!!

I had been blogging for 3 years. I started blogging in 4th grade. What I had liked about blogging was that I like getting comments and giving comments. It’s like chatting on the on the blogs but a little different. What blogging taught me is editing and better at reading. I learned more words and got to know better english. I really just like the commenting about blogging for some reason. What I think is hard about blogging is editing my posts. I’m going to even edit this. I really enjoy meeting new people and it’s also very cool! You should try it!
