4th grade memories

My 4th grade class is over and here are some things I remember . On the first day of school I knew alot of people from 3rd grade. I remember when Mr. Smith let us pick our seats but said,'' Don't sit by someone who will get you in trouble. " The first school project was the Monster Project. We took alot of paper and art supplies and made it into a monster from descriptions from around the world! My part of the monster that I had to make was the hands. That project was during Halloween. The things that I will miss most is my friends. The memory that I remember most is when me and all my friends hugged each other on the first day of school!!! Everybody's favorite internet project was Scratch. Scratch is an internet program where you can make your own games from scratch! On the 2nd day of school a new kid came named Aaron. He moved to a new school now so he wont be graduating 4th grade with us. During December we did a group project. Everyone got in a group and made their own guitar routine. Me and Marissa and Kaitlyn were in a group. We were called the Chipettes. We have African Friends that we wrote to. Mine is Suzan Arinda and the other one is Jacinte Assimwe. They are both eight and girls. We are going to write to each other during the summer!Me and my other friends might cry at the last day at school. 4th grade was so cool and fun when we did all the projects. I have two kittens one is calico and one is gray. My kitten is the calico and my sisters is the gray one. Calli is mine and TapOut is my sisters. We got them on Sunday with my dad. They are only a few weeks old and I already have scratches all over my arms! I accidently stepped on TapOut because he was running away from my sister(he doesnt like her) and I stepped on it. They are kept in the kitchen with a gate up because we do not trust them yet and we do not have vent covers over the holes so we have to put covers over them when we do not use the vents. There were six kittens but we picked them two because they were the cutest in the bunch. We got the kittens at my dads friends house. There were 3 gray ones, one white one,one orange one and a calico. We were only supposed to have one but when I saw them all I wanted another one so we got the gray one and the calico one. THE END

Seatbelt Safety

My idea of wearing a seatbelt for safety would be making a video with two of my friends. The two friends are Anjanaya and Mariah. There would be two kids in back and they would have their seatbelts on and the mom in front would not. The mom would not watch where she was going and she crashed and flew out the window and the kids just stayed in there seats and cried. The video that we made would be called Always where your seatbelt! The video that made me make this video up is on the main blog page. The video is really cool and interesting. Remember always where your seatbelt.

Guess what my center group got to do today! We got to build a city or town in Literacy Center. It was really cool and exciting at the same time. When I first went to the center the first thing I wanted to do was the playground. The people in my group were Kaitlyn,Mark and I. I thought it was a fun.

Landmark games 2010

Guess what we are doing in class this year,we are doing Landmark games! There are 48 teams all around the world going against us. I am on a team with 2 boys Makay and James they help out alot and we help each other with words and clues that we dont get. Here is an example from our clues from Russia: The creator of our landmark was born in the year of the Tunguska Mystery. I really did not know that one at first, but we are getting there pretty fast. Landmark games is when you pick a landmark from anywhere in the world and try to make clues and they have to be a little hard if you want them to be hard then you have to thing hard too. Our landmark is really cool and hard. If you want to sign up then go to Smithbloggers.org and you will get there. All you have to do is click on landmark games and you can see the video a little bit it is not very long and then just sign up pick a landmark and get going. On the day before Christmas break we got to play air guitar. First we got to pick our the people for our group,then we got to pick the name for our band. My favorite part was picking the song and preforming in front of everybody for the video. Marissa,Kaitlyn and I were in a group we were called the Chippetes. Just like the Chippetes on the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie the Squeakwel. We had so much fun. I want to do it again some time but with drums and a microphone so it could be a whole band.

We play a game called Quest Atlantis. We play it in centers and anytime we have free time. It is a very good game and very interesting too. We are about to start a new game called Lure Of The Labrynth . It is going to be a good game to play but were not playing it yet. We are still playing Quest Atlantis. It is fun doing Quest Atlantis on the computer. It is easy to download it, all you have to do is type in www.Quest Atlantis.org.bye bye

Today I did a scary Mp3. It was called Zombies From The Dead. The people who were in my group are Kaitlyn and Marissa. They helped me a lot. We had to sound like zombies and it was hard It was a lot of fun. We had to cut out the silent lines. We had to practice a lot so we could get it just right. When we first started it was kind of scary but then when we did it for real it wasn't so bad. At the end we put a screaming woman yelling over and over and over again. I want to do another one. When you go to our blogs you can click on a little bar and it will come on and you can listen to it.

I am Hailey I am in fourth grade at Eugene Field Elementary. My favorite food is chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. My favorite singer is Justin Bieber. The best song he ever wrote was one time. I really care about my sister Carley. I have one dog his name is Gizmo He is nice. I go to dance on Mondays and Fridays. My favorite show is ICarly. I like Junie B. Jones books because they are hilarious. I love animals and I try to be nice to them and I am always nice to them. I have hundreds of best friends and 2 best cousins,Kaitlyn and Abbie. One of my best friends moved to Washington, Destiny Champion. She moved last year in third grade. She was nice to everybody. That was all about me.

I sat with my best friend Anjanaya Elder. We did hand claps with everyone in the seats next to us. The one we did a lot was ABC Hit it. When we got there we went into an Apple Shed. Two girls were in there and they talked to us about eagles and the shelter they work at. One of the girls showed us a 40 year old Golden Eagle named Mariah and the other girl showed us a Bald Eagle that was 17 years old named Liberty. Then we went to the river to watch the eagles swim and play. Some of the eagles I saw were landing on the ice floating all the way down the river then they did it again. I learned that an immature eagle is brown all over but not the feet. A mature eagle has a white head and tail and the rest of there body is brown. I learned so much.
When we left I was sad because I was having so much fun. That was about my field trip to Eagle Days!
