salmon are running out of food!!!,with the number of salmon in the north pacific having doubled in the past 50,scientists are increasingly concerned there might not be enough food to support them.

1. As the spring scale got farther from the fulcrum, it takes more work to lift the sled.
2. They make things easier to do in life, like they make things easier to lift.
3. The motor couldn't lift a sled with 10 washers, so we had to take some washers

1. A watt is a common unit of power. 1 watt= 1N-m divided by 1second.
2. A 100 watt lightbulb uses 100 N-m of work evry second
3. 1 hp is 750 watts
4. The number of batterys in the circuit matters because the more batterys the more power
5. It took less time to reach the table
6. The time graph went down and the power graph went up
7.Use more batterys
8.im pretty sure the motor used 4.25 volts of energy.

1. The lightbulb went on.
2. The washers would fall faster and the lightbulb would go on longer.
3. with all the washers the lightbulb went on but a little longer each time with more washers.
4. That weight can power light.
5. The motor.
7. The weight of 4 washers was 1.2, the weight of 5 washers was 1.4. The weight of 6 washers is 1.5, and the weight of 7 washers is 1.7 . And they all fell 3ft 8 inches.
8. Having more washers.
9. Step one get pegboard, 2 get materials, 3 put black wire on the light bulb holder and then put the red one on to. Step 4 put the washers on the hook, wind them up and drop them. Thats how you do lesson 10.
10.No because you have nothing to hook the wires on.

1. a watt is like the amount of power that a lightbulb generates 1 watt equals work [newton meters] divided by time
2.it discribes the power of the light bulb
3. 1 horse power is 750 watts
4. i think so beacause when we had one battery could not lift any washers when we had two batterys the motor lifted the washers a little more highter than one battery when we had three batterys the motor lifted them
5. the motor lifted more as we added more batterys
6. the power goes up and the time goes down
7. i would add more batterys and a larger motor beacause that would generate more power
8. you hook the battery to the wire wich turns the energy into electric energy and then turns into keinetic energy

The scientific defination of work is very different from our every day defination of work. In a scientific defination itsnot work unlesss you move something. In the everyday defination of work, reading a whole book would be considered work, even though you didn't move any thing.

my winter holiday

what i do during winter holiday is sitting around the tree and spending family time together and drinking hot chocolate and what we do for chrismas eve is open up 1 present and on christmas we open up presents and talk to each other for a long time :) and sometimes have awesome snow ball fight :D

the most of the issues of hurricane sandy is flooding mostly just in the streets and the train tunnels. and it was the biggest hurricane we have had in a long time. alot of people thought it wasent real or wasent gonna be bad. and it was the first hurricane to hit new york.

well I am glad that obama won because romney would probably put tax on like candy,water bottle etc and i trust obama being president soo ya :)
