Q1.I thought tree planting was very exciting and interesting.

Q3.we planted short pine trees.

1.What happened to the effort force,effort distance, and the amount of work you did to raise the sled .1 meter when you used a lever?(explained what happened as you got farther from the fulcrum or pivot point.)
1.It all went up in the effort force, distance, and it took more work to lift the sled.
2.what do simple machines do to make our lives easier?
2.they help us lift heavy objects when we can't lift them ourselves.
3.Explain what happened when you used a lever to get your motor to lift the sled?
3.It was a lot of work being done at one time so the lever was bending a little and the motor couldn't lift it.

1. A controlled Variable is when you change distance,speed,angle,surface area, or mass/weight.
2. I know it does because if anything is in contact with a moving object and a surface it creates friction.
3. It would increase the friction because it if you have mass and your increasing it the friction will increase also.
4. I thought that changing the surface type really made a differance in the reasults.
