We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. 1.The effort increased when it got closer to the fulcrum. Was Exeter to lift.


                                                2.so you don't have to work hard to get thing were they should be when there is nothing to lift the liver


                    .  3.The moter could lift more washers useing the liver then when it lifting by itself

1.what did you learn about controlled variables by doing the thee friction labs.

I learned that the friction makes things slow down and it helps things slowdown to stop so they aren't sliding all over .

2.the weight was slowing it down so it pulled the hook

3.If there is one block and it's sliding on ice theirs no friction. If there were two or three or four blocks the friction would increase.

4I thought that using different surface truly made a difference.
