This year my favorite field trip was going to China town because we got to eat Chinese food for lunch, go to a fortune cookie factory and, went to Uwajimaya.

My favorite field trip of all time was The Franz Bakery in 2nd grade. Because we got to tour Franz Bakery.

One of my favorite subjects is gym because we get to play games such as: finger tag and pin down.

My other favorite subject is reading because with some books we get to watch the movie of it and one of my favorite projects was when you would make a T- Shirt.

Competing

Today’s Field Day!!

I think Field Day is awesome! I like to compete sometimes but, sometimes I don’t like to compete. I don’t really care about winning or losing.

The MSP

May 10, 2011

I think that the MSP was good but I also thought it wasn’t really long or short. I also thought it would be longer than that. I also liked the MSP because we didn’t have any homework. But I don’t really want to know what the MSP is going to be like in higher grades. But I don’t know what the MSP for math is going to be like.

May 12, 2011

I think the MSP wasn’t easy or hard. I also thought it would be a little shorter then it was though it seemed longer than the Reading MSP but I think the Reading MSP was easier.

The MATH MSP was harder than Reading MSP for me. Both MSP weren’t really long, short, easy or hard for me.

The Flying Bike

Article posted March 17, 2011 at 10:20 PM GMT0 • comment (3) • Reads 1961

I woke up one morning with the urge to ride my bright yellow bike. I looked for my bike but I couldn’t find it. My family said that they didn’t know where it was. I searched some more but I didn’t have any luck. I decided to eat breakfast I made blueberry waffles for breakfast. When I was done I slipped on a red coat. And went to buy a new bike.

I didn’t know any bike stores in our town so I searched for one in town I saw an old store that said Ralf’s old bike shop and the letters were faded. And a sign said it was open and the lights were on so I went inside. I saw an old man and he said, “Hello I’m Ralf and I’m the shop owner” I said that I wanted a bike and then he said that his bikes were on sale because the bikes he has are old and needed to be painted, the tires pumped and, the gears checked. I said I didn’t really care and I just wanted a yellow bike. He then said that he had a bike that just got checked. And was yellow and he’d be willing to give it to me for it free. I got the bike and walked it home because I had forgotten to bring my orange helmet.

When I got home I got my orange helmet ready and my yellow bike ready too. I checked my helmet and it was fine. When I got outside I started to pedal down the street and then I started to rise!! I slowly stopped pedaling then I found that I noticed that I was going higher. The longer I looked at the wheels and they weren’t on the ground!

I started to pedal faster and I began to float. I kept pedaling and I didn’t stop until I was about fifty feet in the air, the town looked like a brownish blur. I looked at my yellow bike and slipped and fell, closer and closer the ground came.

The End

How to build a Stool

How to build a stool
By Robert

Introduction

This may take 1 day to build a stool. However you will need sharp tools to make it so be careful. (If you are a Child you may a need parent to watch you).

How to make a stool

You will need wood, Nails, a hammer, a ruler, and a saw to build it.

Start by cutting a piece into a rectangle with a saw. (It doesn’t matter how long it is you just need to make the legs longer if you expand it.) Then cut a piece of into a square (It helps to cut a small triangle at the bottom of the stool but don’t cut all the way through it. Take the rectangular and place it flat on the floor. Then take the square piece of wood and place it on top. DO NOT place the square piece of flat like the rectangle! Put it so it’s pointing up. Use 2 nails to keep it in its place. Hammer the nail in diagonally so it goes through the square and rectangular piece of wood (Do the same to the other side.)

I’ve made stools before and I should tell you a couple of things: One to be careful when you hammer in the nails diagonally, watch where you put the nails and make sure they are long enough. Two is to be careful with the saw!

It It snowed during mid-winter break in my neighborhood. It started on Wednesday. There's barely enough to use. But I'm still going to use it while it lasts. Probably won't last much longer than this.

February 1, 2011

Today I’m wondering about five things. One is what my lunch is going to be? Two is what my homework is going to be? Three is what we’re doing in Math? Four is what we’re doing in Gym? Five is when I’m going to get done with my spelling?

Today I’m wondering about five things? One is how my day is going to be? Two is what we’re doing in Science? Three is what I’m eating for dinner? Four is what we’re doing in reading groups? Five is when I’ll get my allowance?

My weekend plans

Article posted January 14, 2011 at 05:29 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 531

On Saturday I might get to go to some friend’s house for a sleep over with other friends… although I don’t know which friends house.

I not quite sure what I’m doing on Sunday. But I’m sure I’ll come up with something eventually… But I don’t know how or what it’s going to be.
