In this chapter I learned about how when you mix some stuff together you can make a new substance.  One thing I liked was when we  did the lab that we mixed the baking soda and chloride together and the bag got hot and it blew up like a balloon.  The one thing I didn't like was all the paperwork that we had to do in this chapter.  What kinds of things happen when there is a chemical reaction?                                                                                                                                                                                                           

One thing I learned is heat can travel through the room covection.    One thing Ilike was the popcorn lab. One thing I disliked was the dye in the water lab.
