In this chapter I learned a buch a things! The main thing I learned is what matteris. Matter is  anything that takes up space! I also, learned what an element is. An element is the simplest form of matter! The thing that I enjoyed most in this chapter is the lad with the calcium cloride, cabbage jucie, and baking soda. The reason I liked this lab was I liked how the bag blew up and then exploded in the bag! My least favorite part of the lesson was the lab with the the many different appliences and then we have to add cabbage juice to determain if the solvent was a acid or a base! The reason I didn't like this lab is most of the solvents were danreous and if you smelt them or touched them they would hurt you. I didn't really have any questions on this unit. Hi I'm 76 K!  I'm typing this blog to tell you three things I learned this unit, what I liked about this unit, and what I disliked.  Three things I learned this unit are what heat is which is the flow of energy from warmer to cooler matter. I thought that was very interesting! Another thing I learned was what conduction, convection, and radiation is I learned that through a popcorn lab. YUM!! . Also,  I learned that warm air rises and cool air sinks. So that US why in a fire they tell you to crawl because the smoke is rising. So things that  liked in this lesson was the popcorn lab.  What we did was we went in the pod and Mr. Phillips showed us how to make popcorn through conduction, radiation, and convection. After we were done we got to eat the popcorn YUMMY IN MY TUMMY.  The one and only thing I didn't like about this unit was the flow of energy worksheet. Hi I'm 76K!  Some hobbies I like to participate in are softball all through the year.  I also play basketball in the winter. As well as volleyball. Some other activities I like to participate in are helping coach my sisters softball team.  Also,  band I am in regular band and jazz band in the morning on every day four.

One of my favorite subjects in school is math. I like math because my dad is a math teacher at Highlands Middle School... Another one of my favorite subjects in school is social studies. I like social studies because I really like learning about the wars. The one part I don't like about wars are when all the dead men are laying on the ground so I said they were sleeping!

Some things I like about the school year right now is Mr. Kleckner.  He is SO Funny!  Some things I would like to learn about this year is square roots in math. So, this is my hobbies, likes and dislikes about the year so far, and my favorite subject.
