One thing that I learned this chapter is that an exothermic reaction is when more energy is given off than taken in. Another thing I learned is that an endothermic reaction is when more energy is taken in than given off. The last thing that I learned this chapter in science is what the pH scale is. It is the acids and bases on a scale from 0 to 14 based on how strong or weak the acid or base is. What I liked best in this chapter was the chemical reaction in a bag which is in the picture because it was cool to see the bag expand and one of the bags in our class popped. What I liked least about this unit was the study guides because I don't like answering like 15 essay questions. The question that I have is how many chemical reactions are there in the world?

Three things I learned in this science unit is that a room is heated by convection. Another thing I learned is that you boil water using conduction. The last thing I learned is that a microwave heats food by using radiation. The thing that I liked the best in this unit was doing experimemts. My least favorite thing about this unit was learning about expansion and contraction because that was the most confusing thing to me. The question that I have is where does a plane's jet get the heat from?

I like to play baseball and play video games. I like to talk to my friends. I also like to play sports and hanging out with my friends.
I like math the best out of all of the subjects. I'm the best at it. What i like least about school is writing papers, answering essay questions, and PSSA's. I'm looking forward to learning about Egypt and building catapults.
