One of the three things that I learned this chapter was what an acid is.  An acid is a compound that releases hydrogen ions in water.  I also learned about what strong acids can do.  Strong acids can burn your skin and are poisonous.They react quickly with many metals releasing hydrogen gas.  The third thing that I learned in this chapter was what weak acids do.  Weak acids give foods the sharp sour taste in vinegar, soda water, spinach, apples, limes, and lemons.  My favorite thing in this chapter was the  cabbage juice lab.  This was my favorite lab because when we mixed the cabbage juice with the water, vinegar, and other substances we could tell by the color wheather it was an acid, base, or neutral.  My least favorite thing in this chapter was the fact that the test was scheduled on the begining of the week so I had to worry about studying on the weekend.  I liked this cahpter because of all of the labs.  What was your favorite lab this chapter???  Why??

Hi!! I'm 109 and I'm in Mr. Lampus's class.  I am into gymnastics as a matter of fact I am a level 6 competitive gymnast.  I am also into scrap booking.  Most of the things I scrapbook are gymnastics and family related subjects.

My favorite subject in school is math.  I love doing group activities throughout my classes.  So far I like all of my teachers.  but I am not a fan of the homework given on the weekends at all.

This year I am definitely looking forward to all of the different activities in each class. That is a little bit about me. 

During this chapter I learned more than 3 things, but 3 things I learned are conduction is the transfer of heat from one object to another by direct contact.  Also that radiation is the transfer of heat from one place to another without the use of matter.  The last thing I learned was that convection is the transfer of thermal energy when a warm liquid or gas is moved from one place to another.  My favorite activity that we did in this unit is the food coloring activity.  My least favorite thing about this unit was the book activities when we had to read out of the book to answer questions. I have one more question though,  what was your favorite activity??????????
