The Motorcycle Accident
One sunny day my dad and I were going to TSC Supermarket. We were on my dad’s medium-sized, gray motorcycle. We were going really fast, maybe 120km per hour! Suddenly, there was a puddle on the floor in front of us. We slipped and the motorcycle fell on the side. We skidded onto the road.
I fainted. The next thing I can remember was my mom poking me. My arm was really painful and I could feel liquid on it. When I looked it was covered in blood. My dad was hurt, too, so we both went to the hospital.
When we got to the hospital they put something on my finger. It was blue and they taped it on. There was a wire going to a box. It gave my heartbeat and whether or not I was ready to go home. They cleaned up my arm. It felt more painful that when I’d fallen off the motorcycle.
After a couple of weeks I went to school, I was in KG1. My friends kept on asking me why my arm was kind of brown. I felt really shy. I just said, “Because.” and tried to cover it up. They didn’t stop, they just kept on asking me again and again. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I told them why and then they stopped asking. I should have told them in the first place because then they wouldn’t have annoyed me as much.
