My dad gave me a dollar because I’m his smartest child
And for that dollar I traded
Two quarters
‘Cause two is more than one

So came the Owners of the world
And just ‘cause they’re rich they traded my two shiny quarters
For three silver dimes
I chuckled and said who new, that THREE is more than TWO

And then I showed my dad and said
“Keep the change but you still owe me”
My dad did not reply
He just got red in the cheeks two proud of me to speak

A Road Not Taken

Article posted January 30, 2012 at 12:54 PM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 399

A Road Not Taken is a poem where a person has too make a dission, a dission in life, a path to take, a destiny to choose he saw that both paths each destined the same but one of the paths was less traveled by and so it happend that he took the route less traveled by. Now that he looks back he knows he took the route less traveled by and made a big diference in the world and wondered what would have become of him if he were to take the other road

Ramper

Article posted December 9, 2011 at 10:25 AM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 125

My dad and I built a ramp once for my bike my sister’s bike and my skateboard. The day we started building the ramp was the day we finished it and the day we finished it was the day I started to try to complete it successfully without any protection. I started to try my first try was suicide but my dad saved me by holding my arm to stop my back from cracking on the tip of the ramp, after I was back on my legs he asked me if I was ok I told him, “NO, what do you think, you almost tore my arm of!” “Well would you like your back broken, and I wouldn’t have done it if I knew that it would not break your arm!” I guess your write, I thought. So I tried again and that one was just a complete failure I got closer to the ramp so I would not go as fast as the first time I tried like my dad said but I went half way up then I skidded backwards and my dad caught me again “AAAAAHH” I screamed “SHOU SAAR?” My dad screamed back “stop doing that one day you’re going destroy my shoulder bone” “uph bada hal ad?” “EH” “hej it surigh” “fine, should I try from farther?” “shou ma badack fiec taamil!” So I went farther up the hill the second I past three inches from the point I went the last time my dad told me to stop and try from there so I put the board down and my dad said “remember lean forward and try to stay on the skateboard. So I did but I’m not Mr. Smarty pants in skateboarding so I failed after a couple of tries my dad went in to complete his work so I gave it a try my first was with not much power so I went half way up the hill and skated back down the hill, this time I didn’t even touch the ramp so I stopped my skateboard and went to the exact same place and tried again but ones more I did not hit the ramp. The next day… My dad asked me if I wanted to try again to see if I could own the ramp and that he was free for a very short amount of time, so of course I said, “Yes.” So we went outside to and got the ramp and my skateboard and tried to own the ramp but after five tries my dad said “khalas I have to finish my work now.” I continued, trying to complete it… it never worked. On my tenth try I got up the ramp successfully but going down is hard. I fell. I scraped half of my knee, a quarter of my knee was bleeding flesh and another quarter of my knee was plain blood. I cried out in pain though I didn’t cry, I got up and sat on the swing to hurt to cry.

canping expectations

Article posted October 12, 2011 at 12:59 PM GMT+2 • comment (1) • Reads 782

I expect the Deir Alqamar camping trip to be fun and I think the funest part will be archery. I love archery. I will expect to be really hot. I doubt it will be cold and since we did archery last year I wonder if we will do a new yard skill this year. If we do have a new yard skill, I hope it will be jousting, know it is dangerous but at least we could wear mail or something so it won't hurt as much and shortend spear things because they are really short but I doubt any one can ride and just at the same time. I hope it will be fun and that's an expectation too!

Jordan

Article posted November 29, 2010 at 08:37 AM GMT+2 • comment (2) • Reads 1108

I am learning about Jordan here are some facts:
1. There are deserts, mountains, deep valleys, and rolling plants.
2. There is warm climate but in some parts there is very little rain!
3. There are large sites, and farm lands on Trans Jordan Plateau!
4. There are hotels, restaurants, banks, tours, factories, and mines.
5. There are 4 parts of Jordan; the whole of Jordan is about the size of Kentucky.
I would like to know about Jordan’s history.
