I Made a Mistake

Luke

I went to a car dealership to buy a car,

I made a mistake … and saw a shooting star.

I went to the jungle to see a cheetah,

I made a mistake … and bought a heater.

I went to the funfair to play at the coconut shy,

I made a mistake … and swallowed a fly.

I went to London to see big ben,

I made a mistake … and stole a hen.

I went to the park to observe some moss,

I made a mistake … and got in trouble with my boss.

I went to the airport to take a flight

I made a mistake … and got in a fight.

I went to outer space to see a star,

I made a mistake … and found a gold bar.

I went to the soccer field to play a match,

I made a mistake … and got an eye-patch

I went to ACS to meet a friend,

I made a mistake … and got near to my end.

I went to the store to buy some pork,

I made a mistake … and ended up in New York.

Forgotten Homework

Forgotten Homework

Once upon a time in St. John’s School in London, I had forgotten to do my homework. The next day at school, my friends asked me a question about the homework. I was so scared that my friends would find out that I didn’t do my homework.

I said a different answer. They found out. They told the teacher, but he didn’t believe them. Then I had to share.  I ran to my bag, and pulled out any random piece of paper. What I didn’t know was that it was a note from my mum. As I got inside I read it aloud, “Dear Mr. Fletcher, Luke did not do his homework.” Everyone laughed at me. So I had to do two pieces of homework.
