On the 17th of November it was our school athletics.Almost all of the students in the school did athletics. We were all puffing and puffing almost after everything. Some kids almost fanted after running the 800metres. I only came a place in one thing. That one thing was 3rd in discuss. I tried my hardiest too come a place in another event but I didn't. The events we had were long jump, high jump, discuss, shot put, vortex and a lot of running. After we had done all of the events we had the relays. While therelays we going on all of houses we yelling their house chant. The house that won was Ngarimu. So people were so happy and so people were sad because their house didn't win. But we I didn't let that ruin my perfect day.

Cushion designs

In term 1 room4 designed and made cushions. First we had to design it. Room4 students made a lot of different designs to other people like teddy bears, trucks and the New Zealand flag. We had to do the picture that we had chosen a lot of times. Once on a small piece of paper and then a bigger square piece, then finally we had got to put our designs on a piece of material and sew our designs on. Some people in room4 did not know how to sew. But now they do.
Room4 students had a great experience learning how to sew and what to use to make a comfortable cushion.

Kapa Haka

Ever since term 2 rooms 3 and 4 have been doing Kapa Haka. Its been a great experience so far. Its term 4 now and we are having a great time doing it. In term 3 we had a Kapa Haka festival at Reporoa College. I had a great time doing it. Ever since that day I have not been as shy as I used to be. I love Kapa Haka alot and I know everyone else does to.

This year the rugby world cup was played in New Zealand.
People in every class were so excited. Especially room4. Whenever any of the games that the All Blacks were playing in games room4 would do pick the score. Pick the score is when you put your name down on a piece of paper and you write down the team that the All Blacks are facing and you pick a score down by both the teams that you think the score will be. Some people’s families do pick the score at their house too. The rugby world cup was exciting and amazing.
I really enjoyed watching it.

Bang!The gun went off. It was breast stroke. I was coming first then suddenly out of nowhere a girl from another school passed me. NO! I said to myself. Then another girl passed me. Then another. More girls kept passing me. Including a girl from Lake Rerewhakaaitu. They all kept on passing me until i was coming last. Finally I was nearly there. When I got to the end I just ran back to where I was sitting before I was racing.Even though I came last I was still proud of myself because it was only my first time at Cluster swimming sports.
