I            this book because it has a great storey towards it i love the movie aswell,has great illustrations with a range of powerful words.

I would recommend ages 10 and over to read this book.

Broom,broom putt putt along the main high way was franklin the chicken in his brand new invention the spoonanator=http://!!On his way down the torturing main high way he spotted a military station,shall we stop muttered franklin i think we shall.A chicken driving a spoon going to military school how crazy is this story going to get.But any way back to the story along his journey there was something lying in the misty dust.I was a tourch i know what i can use this for head lights.He carryed on down the road to the military station."Now i need to find a way in "grumbled franklin.Ahaaaaaaaaaaa he spotted a tiny winy hole on the side of the building.When he relised it was a hole leading into the drain.I can use the ragged old coffen lying there to ride down the sewer pipes.Rats were everywhere.When all of a sudden the coffen slamed shut the door was never going to budge.He tried to escape but it was never going to open,He was trapped forever.

MATHS TARGET Use known basic facts. Use strategies i know like partitioning and recombining,place value etc. I am going to acheive this by using new strategies.READING TARGET Search for clues the author gives me to add meaning to a text. Explain my answers using sectionsfrom text for evidence.I am going to acheive this by searching for clues. WRITTING TARGET Develop the use of speech within my story writting. Add effect in my writting by choosing appropriate places to use similes,onmatopoeia and metaphors.I am going to acheive this by putting these in the right spaces.
