Are you excited for the school year to be over with? I know I am. It’s been a long year so far in school.
I’ve been in 9th grade for the second time. Hopefully with the help of summer school I'll go into 10th grade next year. This summer is going to be a pretty good one. Get to sleep in on the days I don’t have to work. Stay up late and stay out if I want to. I don’t have to worry about doing any type of schoolwork at home.
This summer is going to be about making as much money as I can. Hopefully ill be working at Diaz Manufacturing and on the side splitting wood. I’m trying to save as much money as I can this summer to put towards another car. Plus more money into the car that I already have. Also I’m going to spend as much time as I can playing basketball with friends. Work on my shooting and dribbling my all around skills. Hopefully this summer I can take a trip to Texas with my father. He goes to Texas sometimes to deliver stone down there and it’s a cool ride down. But also very hot.
That’s pretty much what I’ll be doing this whole summer. I hope everyone else has a safe but fun summer too.

Dear FreshyyWhat's good about being a freshmen. There are some up's and some down's. Most of the freshmen teachers are very lenient. When it comes to your work most of them take it when its still overdue. As long a you respect the teachers they will give your the respect back. If you bring in food for Mr. Hein you'll be one of his favorite students. There is less work in 9th grade then there is 8th. As long as you do most your work you will pass the 9th grade.
Sincerely, Klay

What do I like and not like about projects? There are few things I like about projects and a couple things I do not like. Depending on what the project is, determines if I would like it or not. The project has to be an interesting one. If the project isn't interesting I'm more then likely not going to do it. What I do like about projects are is there a lot of points you could make. If you don't have the best grade then you have a chance to pull it up. I also like if you do group projects. If you need help more than likely one of the people in your group would be able to help you out. There are a couple of things I like and don't like about projects.

January Freewrite
Have you ever taken the time to do a free write? What do you think of while free writing?
Free writing is pretty basic if you put your mind to it. When you do a free write just write for as long as you can without stopping. Don’t stop to make corrections when you know you’ve messed up. Keep writing even if you run out of things to say. If you have to even write “I don’t know what to say”. Write whatever comes into your mind. Do not judge or censor what you are writing. The good thing about free writing is that you can say whatever you want to say. Nobody can tell you different. Free writing has some benefits that I’m about to tell you. It makes you more comfortable with the act of writing. It can be a valve to release inner tensions. It can help you discover things to write about. It can indirectly improve your formal writing.
Also free writing can just be fun. Make sure when you start a free write you are comfortable. Use whatever you like if its pen, pencil, or even a marker. Information from this blog is taken from this website: http://web.mst.edu/~gdoty/classes/concepts-practices/free-writing.html.

What is a hero to you? Is it someone helping others. Or is it someone robbing stores to make money. A hero to me is someone that can help others in everyday life. A hero could be someone saving a person from a burning building, or saving someone from getting mugged in an alley way. But whats not a hero. A hero is not somebody robbing stores to make some extra money, or mugging people in the alley way.

September Free Write
What I want to write about for my September free write is that English is the worst class. Every year I always seem to fail English class.
In the beginning of the year I get good grades but I seem to go down hill very fast. I’m always getting good or bad grades so my average usually is like a 57. The only time I ever got good grades in English was in 7th grade.
The worst part of English class would probably be the reading short stories. Most of the stories that I have read in the past are usually stupid and really don’t interested me at all. In 7th grade we had to memorize a poem and recite it to the class. Also write an essay about the poem of how it relates to you. I never could do the whole thing thing because English was so boring to me. So I never would get good grades there.
All of the others classes are 10 times better than English. Math class is better than English. Also Civics is a better class. This is why I don’t like English class.

A Visual Representation of Me.
Hi my name is Klay M. On my binder I put a picture of the baseball tean Pittsburg Pirates and Las Angeles Dodgers. Those are my two favorite baseball teams. I also have a picture of Bob Marley. Bob Marley is one of my idols. The binder is black and yellow in the backround. I did the backround black and yellow because my favorite song is black and yellow by Wiz Khalifa. Another picture I have on my binder is a picture of one of my favorite rappers Lil Wayne. The quote I have on my binder is the quote "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the dog". Thanks for listening to me about my binder.

Our group designed a project using a yard stick, a spoon, and duck tape. We tapped a big serving spoon to the end of a yard stick. We planned on scooping the tomato right up off the bottom of the well. When we put it together we figured the spoon was really flimsey.
Mr. Woolcock came up with a modification for the flimsey spoon not to bend so much in the well. He drilled a hole in the spoon and tied fishing line through it. So when we stuck the spoon down the well the spoon bent enough to go under the tomatoand pull the tomato out.
Our group performed a nice job. The best part of our project was that we got the tomato out of the well in less than 15 seconds.
There was nothing bad about our preformance. If I could change anything on our project, I wouldn't change anything. Our project got the tomato right out of the well in less than 15 seconds. It could not of went any better.
