Roadkill- Chipmunks Analysis

My Hypothesis was that I thought that the chipmunk population would increase but I don’t think it will. It looks like the population is taking a rocky and fast drop down. I assumed this because in the last few years there was a rise in the number of nut bearing trees, therefore increasing the population. But when I looked at my graph that didn’t look right.
I think I discovered a lot more about wildlife, the more advanced part of wildlife. The invisible forces that tie the population together. I don’t know if that’s right how im saying it. The rodent graph I made probably spoke for all the small animals in New England. I think a lot of animals wont have trouble finding nuts but will have problems with the heat.
Next year I predict that the population will be so low that the chipmunks around Rye might disappear, that’s just a prediction. A very random prediction for the people who are reading this. This was a learning experience and i learned a little bit about the mathematical part of nature.
Im disappointed that people haven’t collected better cencus counts of animals over the years and that all I had was this data. I cant rely on this that much because this data wasn’t collected by trained experts but by average people who aren’t trained to identify, spot, and distinguish animals over other animals. And also what about the other animals? What if it turns out that the small amount of dead animals that were found in 2005 werent because of the heat and animals just migrating because of a higher amount of predators. There is not enough data to accurately place a conclusion. I don’t understand enough to know why this would be useful. Sure I know that it could help to understand the population of the animals, it could help to understand why animals are leaving their habitat. But It could. That’s the fatal flaw. Its not the reservation where all the animals are grouped, tagged, and put in a large cage. It’s the wild, and until then we may have conclusions but we will never know the true meaning of the planet, why Artic Comorants migrate half way across the world troubles me as much as whats happening to the chipmunk population. Even if you separate two sea turtle eggs, thousands of miles away from each other, they will hatch exactly at the same time, why? Technology will never explain everything. Try to tell the world that the missing link is an ape, an ape. Think of that… Compared to humans. We are the people who are trying to understand the meaning of life. Can an ape do that? How do you come up with the answer that an ape is the answer to everything? Everything seems in place? It isn’t in place just as the graph up above doesn’t explain anything. NEVER MAKE A CONCLUSION WITHOUT SUPPORTING EVIDINCE.
That’s what I have learned.
Good Luck.

Hi, i did a digital art project after making a clay shoe, we had to make clay shoe advertisements if the shoe was real. It was kind of fun. Mine is Spider man, It says: This old guy likes my shoes... so buy em... Its kind of freaky. Gives me the shivers. It is funny though.

We are working on a roadkill project in 7th and ive noticed that gray squirrels and red squirrels... squirrels in general are the ones that get killed the most. Why is this? Are they not intellegent enough to realise the danger? Are they not fast enough? why are they crossing or going on the road? why?WHY?WHY? I do not know...

This is my acid rain poster, i am a 7th grader. Acid rain is very harmful to the environment and destroys ecological habitats, it is caused by the burning of fossil fuels which release s02 and n0x, two pollutants which mixed with moisture and sun make h2s04 and s04, two very bad acids. On average acid rain travels 1000-3000 miles. By- DJGA

The Stock Market Final Report
For 3 stocks in the stock market I picked Generex biotechnology, Nutrition-21, and Qimoda AG. I picked these 3 because I wanted to buy penny stocks that would be cheap and I would be able to buy a lot of them. I was thinking that if I bought a lot of them I would make thousands of dollars. For Generex Biotechnology I really had no idea what the company did or produced but it was one of the cheapest I could find, I bought 3750 stocks from this company. For Nutrition-21 I heard about this company on TV I think it’s a weight loss company for fat people but it was a really cheap stock so I bought it at 00.33 cents. Then my last was Qimonda AG, I liked Qimonda AG because it was only 00.14 cents and I liked the sound of it, I bought 50,000 stocks of that, I was expecting to make Millions from Qimonda AG but in the long run I didn’t….
Now that I’ve researched and watched the stock I would get better stocks like apple and Google because they have more stock holders which make’s the companies stocks rise and fall a lot. Also I won’t buy penny stocks any more because they can be very boring to watch and record the price. I think that penny stocks are a little sketchy because I think that some one them are people creating fake companies raking in money, but they keep their price low so they aren’t caught. For people who are investing in the stock market… STOP NOW the stock market is a real world slot machine with a 1/100 chance of getting millions. You never know what the prices will be the next day and therefore you have to put your money in the hands of chance, do you really want to do that? I think the stock market is like gambling, you throw down 5 bucks but you don’t know your opponent has 3 aces. Bing! Your down! Also I wouldn’t suggest investing in Penny stocks, it’s a pure joke. I invested 10k into 3 penny stocks and came out with only 12.50 extra, it was really a waste of my time if it really happened in real life. Also I would suggest investing in average everyday stocks live apple and Google because you don’t invest a lot of money that might be worth something to you if you lose it, you don’t want to be like the poor guy at the slot machine do yeh?
