Dear family,
I miss you so much! It’s so lonely out here. The only thing I have to watch is cow’s ands cattle. The only comfort is my pillow/sleeping bag and every once in a while a fire. And it really stinks out here!!! All the cattle going to the bathroom out makes it REALY stinky. All the food we have is bread, beans and some chili. I saw a lot of desert and cactus and vultures and very little water. And I’m always on horse back. One thing I like out here is the refreshing wind at night. I’m always thinking about you! How’s Charlie doing? I hope he’s been good. I hope to see you in a few months!!!
From,
Zack

This story is about my field trip to Kartchner Caverns. When we got on the bus I was really exited! We were actually going to a place that’s famous. When we got there it was boring because we had to wait for a person that would take us up by the doors to the cave. When we got to the cave, it was kind of weird. It was kind of cold in there. The man giving us the tour showed us the place where the people who discovered the caves got in. Then we got to see some stalagmites and stalactites. After that, we got to go into the throne room it was huge!!! They did a light display while they played some music. After that we got out of the caves and got on the bus to go back to school.

(Pant) (Pant) roar!!! I herd that sound from a mile away. Ok so you think I’m crasy but I’m running for my life!!! If your wondering how I got myself into this well it all started when I whent on my 6th grade field trip. We were going to a museam to look at Greek and Roman stuff. I know kinda boring but the teacher Mr.Brunner has a ton of Greek and Roman armor. So I had hope. So when we got off of the buss I desided to stick with my best friend Grover. When we got to the museam we imedeentle when into the Greek and Roman area. We stopped in front of three huge stause and then all of the sudden Mr.Brunner was standing there saying the three many Olympian gods are Zeus Posiedon and Hades. After that he said that the three stachus were of them and then all of the sudden a huge Hydra came out of noware and attaked us.Qwickley I pulled out a sword and swung it me and grover ran for camp-half-blood. And we got there.

Why do people love and respect Roberto Clemente? Roberto Clemente Walker was a Puerto Rican ball player whose Major League career went 18 seasons from 1955 through 1972. He played all of them with the Pittsburgh Pirates, primarily as a right fielder. He was born in a small barrio in Puerto Rico. Roberto Clemente was the youngest of seven children and was raised in a modest home with mother Luisa and father Melchor. Clemente was a great players, always playing his best and was able to play well when it counted the most. That attitude won the World Series for the Pirates in 1971 and made him the Series MVP. Many people often said that Clemente played "something close to the level of absolute perfection." He was also a nice person and a good role model. He was well respected and he looked out for other people. In 1972, Clemente had taken upon himself to direct personally a relief mission to earthquake torn Nicaragua. He was on the plane heading to Nicaragua with food and supplies when it crashed into the Caribbean Ocean killing him and four other people. Thats why people love and respect Roberto Clemente.

I wonder how you can grow a cactus. Cacti are popular to grow for a variety of reasons, including their unique look, easy care, and long life. In order to grow, cactus need at least six months of 70+ degree weather. Most cactus also need a lot of sunlight. They need two or three times of water a week, but too much water makes them rot. The best place to grow a cactus is outside in fast-draining soil like in the desert. That is how to grow a cactus.
