5th Grade 2010-2011
My classroom blog is meant to be a tool for students' voices. Their writing is real writing with purpose, opinions, observations and real reasons. The fifth graders are thinking and responding to their world and this blog is for them to express those thoughts. Fifth graders' lives are bigger than the classroom and so the blog is an extension of school and themselves.

I wish that nobody would get sick

...

because no one would have to go through the pain and/or misery of getting sick. Hospitals would still be in business because there would still be disease.

Dogs vs. Cats

I think dogs are better than cats. Dogs can save you from injury and even death. Dogs don't have stinky liter boxes. Dogs don't stop on walks and roll around in the dirt. Dogs don't eat your neighborhood bunnies! That's why I think dogs are better than cats!
