The things I liked most about 5th grade were getting to be a part of the Geodome and going to Turtle River! (Despite all the ticks I got.) The Geodome was cool because you would sit in this igloo shaped dome, and it would show you all the things about space! It looked totally 3D!!! It was awesome! Too bad we can't do it again... :( And Turtle River was cool because you got to go hiking, fishing, play kickball, talk with friends, etc,.. My favorite subject in 5th grade was science! (The Geodome was a part of science!)

 What I'm looking forward to doing in the summer is going swimming, being outside, and going to Arkansas. My family and I all go to the swimming pool (maybe some friends too!) for like 5 hours. It's pretty awesome! What I do outside is probably hang with friends or play sports with my brother. And in Arkansas, we do EVERYTHING!! It's really pretty there because you see these rocky hills that were broken down by dynamite. I see my grandparents and aunt and uncle there. And for 6th grade, I'm just plain out nervous!    -Aylo33

 I'm Not Who You Think I Am is by Peg Kehret. It is about a girl named Ginger who finds out an older woman in a white car is following her, and watching her every move, even when her parent are outta town! If you wanna know what else happens to Ginger, you should check it out! 

 I love this book because it has a lot of action and captivating moments in it. I would highly recommend this book to kids from ages 9+. Kids younger than this might not understand it as much, or even think it is scary. If you start reading this book (lemme tell ya) you might not be able to stop reading until it is all over! I couldn't! I loved it so much, I even brought it to a hockey game to finish it! I was so determined! I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is stupendous! - Aylo33

I wish that my dad would move to where I live instead of an hour and a half away from me. The reason why I chose this to be my wish is because then I can just drive to his house whenever I want, instead of having to wait for two weeks to get to see him again.

In Mrs. Melland's class we are learning about space! It's quite interesting to learn about because you never really know what's true and what's an opinion. One of the most interesting facts I've learned in the past week is that there are many other stars that are way bigger than our star, the sun. The only reason why we think that the stars that you see at night time are smaller than the sun, is because they are quite a ways away. We are also going to be doing something next week called a GeoDome. I've never seen it before, but from the people that have seen it that have told me something about it, it sounds pretty cool! I'm not going to say what it's about, just in case you haven't seen it yet and are planning on seeing it. And during the GeoDome we also get to use i-pads! Anyways, I have a question for you. What's your favorite planet?
