SCHOOL SHOW

Article posted November 4, 2012 at 10:55 PM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 83

Malfroy School has our school show every two years. Each class has a different item, this year it was about kiwiana. Each class has to pick a song from New Zealand/Aotearoa for Kiwiana.

On Thurday 1st November 2012 at Living Well church, at the start we sang kiwi kids and at the end we sang Aotearoa then the haka and our national anthem of New Zealand.

We do our school show every two years because of our curriculum and the arts like drama, dance and singing we do this to practise our skills and see what are you made of.

Yesterday we had Mrs Brell and we did some dot art.
My colours were red, blue, orange with purple dots, red with green dots and blue with red dots.
At the end of my paint brush when I was dotting, I kept running out of paint.

It was fun with Mrs Brell.

Sport:BMX the final

I'm waiting for my turn watching USA biking on and around the track nervous as my heartt can ever be.
Ok it's my turn, here I go. I hear the crowd cheering saying "go NZ"! I go over the track I can see Destiny waiting for her turn. I'm going up and down the hill and track, I've finished coming 2nd.

It's Destiny's turn, she goes and she gets a bronze, I get a silver, USA got gold.

Event:1500m of running Date:8/8/12
Headline:Kiwi Forever
Last night Nick Willis just got a silver medal, Mike Selwyn got a bronze and Jackson Angel from Great Britian won a gold. This morning we were interviewing Nick Willis from New Zealand, he said that he was going for gold but in the second to last lap he got tired in his right leg, but he did his personal best. Nick Willis said "thank you New Zealand it not just medal its your's and mine".

An Olympic value that was shown in this event was: compassion and doing your personal best.
