Mellisa Hollingsworth was born on Oct 4,!980 in Eckville,AB. Now she lives in Calagary,AB. She is the one and only female for skeleton to win a olymics award. She joined the the national team in 1996. Mellisa has one a bronze and silver medal in other events then the olympics. She has thought about quitting but she could not do that to Canada, she loves to to inspire. The is heigh in the family her cousin Ryan Davenport. She lives in the moment and does her best

Olympic Events - Skeleton

Skeleton came to the olympic's in 1976. It was first tried by British Soilders on a tobogan. Now when practicing skeleton they use the same track as bob sled and luge, they wear an airplane helemet and skin tieght speed suits.Skeleton is one of the newest events to the olympics. When they start they run at hiegh speeds then smoothly liegh there bodys on the sled going throw the track at hiegh speeds twisting and curving, once they get to the end they use there feet to stop. As doing this they are trying to get the lowest time. Not many people do skeleton but when they do they better like the adrenaline rush. By Talen

For christmas I want=
A cellphone because all my friends have one, they are good to stay in contact with your friends, and if I need to call someone at home I do not have to go to the office.
I want a book called Amoung the Free because I read the series, and in the last book read in the series it had two chappters of the book Amoung the Free and it was great already, and the book is intense.
I want money so I can get my hair hiegh lighted, I can go shopping, and I can save to get a cell phone!
I would like new earings because I always need new earings, so that their is jewlery to go with my new close, and because I always lose earings.
I WANT THE ONE TREE HILL SERIES because i love the charectars, because Much Music is not playing it anymore, and I am obsesed!!
Hope I get it all!
