2nd ESO C 2009
2nd ESO A, B, C and D are classes of grade 8 . They are students at "IES Vil·la Romana", a secondary school in La Garriga (Barcelona, Spain). They are learning English as a foreing language. They will practice their speaking and writing. They'd like to communicate to students around the world. This is the first year they're going to use this blog.
En España tenemos cinco comidas: desayuno, almuerzo, comida, merienda y cena. En la comida y cena tenemos 3 platos. El desayuno es a las 7:00-8:00, el almuerzo es a las 11:00 en el patio, la comida es a las 14:00, la merienda es a las 6:00 y la cena es a las 10:00.
En el desayuno yo suelo comer dos vasos de leche, un yogurt y galletas, no comemos mucho.
En el almuerzo nos llevamos un bocadillo con jamón, embutidos o alguna otra cosa para rellenar un bocadillo.
En la comida tenemos tres platos, en el primer plato yo como un plato de macarrones, en el segundo plato carne arrebozada y de tercer plato un yogurt.
En la merienda es cuando acabamos el instituto y llegamos a casa, y yo suelo comer un vaso de leche con galletas.
En la cena es por la noche y tiene tres platos, en el primer plato una sopa, de segundo plato pescado y de tercer plato un yogurt.Comidas Típicas

Hello. I'm going to talk about IES VIL·LA ROMANA.
My high school, is in Barcelona, La Garriga.In this building, we have 3 different colours: level 1 is red the level 2 is green, and level 3 is blue. We have got 11 school subjects Spanish, English, Science, Maths, Religion, Geography, Tecnhology, Catalan, Comprehension Reading, Music and Laboratory.

Halloween is celebrated for children and “La Castanyada” too. They are popular festivals. Both festivals are on 31st of October. Things that are the diferent: On Halloween we eat sweets and we drink fruit juice,… but on “La Castanyada” we eat chestnuts, sweet potatoes and “panellets” (small popular cake). We go trick or treat on Haloween but we don’t go trick or treat on “La Castanyada”. On Halloween we dress up as monsters but on “La Castanyada” we buy chestnuts and sweet potatoes.

What languages can I speak?
I can speak 3 languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan and I can speak some English. I speak Catalan with my father, mother, brothers and some friends. I speak Castilian with my grandfather, grandmother, some friends and with my uncle and I speak English with my teacher, Mercè Barrull.
Where I learn this languages?
I learn Spanish at school, with my parents and with some friends. I learn Catalan at school, with some family and with some friends and I speak English with my teacher of English Mercè Barrull.
I speak 3 languages..
