mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman""> In this news article I found, Susan Larson wrote about how kids (and adults!) today are usually texting too much, avoiding human interaction. She then connects Albert Einstein's famous quote, "It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity." In this article she invites readers to join the celebration of Barrow County's 15th anniversary for the live Nativity Scene. This event takes place in the Town Square of Bethlehem. This festival brings people together and gets people to open up. There is no defined line between the actors and the spectators, so everyone joins in. I connected this with the arts, and how theatre can bring people together. Sure, you can watch recordings on your Itouch, but you won't get the same thrill that you get when you're there in person.

Why do people want pictures?
Some people want to pictures to capture a certain moment in time. Others might just want it for decoration. Pictures have been used to record all types of events through out the ages, from simply engraved metal, to Georges-Pierre Seurat's, Sunday Afternoon. Some artists make paintings for a certain person to show, love, anger, and loyalty. We also have preserved many paintings of rulers through out the ages, giving us an idea of what they looked like.

mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">I don't think Widge will steal the book and return to Falconer. I predict he will stay with the theatre family and follow his newly found dream, acting. Maybe something bad will happen to Nick on stage , he's being a big meanie. It's connected to the Renaissance/Middle Ages by the way Widge and all the characters talk, you can definitely tell they’re in a completely different age. The author also describes their clothes very well, or in the author's words, garments.

I have researched Renaissance daily life, and in that time frame I have learned about how people during that time lived and how they maintained a semi-healthy life (compared to ours, it was pretty unsafe). One of the most interesting things I learned about the Renaissance was that the servants of the owner of the house had to account for anything and everything the owner's family (or guest) ate. Peasants and noble ate a wide variety of foods, some I hadn't even heard of.
mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">Clothes also surprised me because, rich people didn't just wear it for fashion, they wore it to cover up as much skin as possible, usually to cover up if that person is sick.

I'm especially excited about Daily Life. I learned a lot about Western civilization and it's art in Humanities last year. That was my favorite class, so I'm hoping this class will broaden my understanding of the artist and what they were going through during those times. I plan to learn more about these subjects by working with my sister, also helping her with her classes. I would also go to the library to check out certain books on the subject.
