Baking.

Last Tuesday our Mums and Dads came, but only my Mum was there. First we mixed margarine, then some sugar. Next we mixed it. It looked yummy already. I am glad because I got to do this. We put them in the oven. There were two ovens, one in the gym and the other is in the hall. When they were done, we had to wait because it was too hot for us to eat. When I tasted it, it was scrumptious.

Our School's on Fire!

When our school was on fire, it was freaky. The buildings were tumbling down. There was glass all over the ground. The siren goes. I walk to the big field with my class in a line. I can see smoke coming out of the buildings. There were giant flames. I couldn't stop shaking. It was so, so scary. I was hugging my friend. I hate fires. Lights were exploding. Our work got burnt. I was crying. I worked so hard to do it. Buildings were cracking in half and tumbling down. It was so scary. I wish there wasn't a fire. Everyone was all right.

Science Expo.

Last Tuesday some scientists came to school, in the hall. One thing they did was, they put a balloon in liquid nitrogen and it shrunk. When it got hotter, it grew back again. And they put liquid nitrogen in a bottle and put the lid on. Then it blasted in the air.

My Holiday.

On the holidays we drove to Wellington. Then we went on a ferry in the evening. On the ferry I bought a souvenir. It was a box with mixture in it and a ferry and dolphin. Then we got to a camp site. The campsite was in a forest. Then we went to bed. At the next day we played. Then we drove to Picton. We stayed one night. The place we were staying at was by the sea. My dad and I went to collect mussels.

Sports Day.

Yesterday our class had Junior Sports Day. We did all sorts of fun activities like the big parachute. And we threw the beanbags in the hoops. The trickiest was the sack race. And I liked the little parachutes.

Run Bike Run.

We did the Run, Bike, Run, today. When it was almost time to go, I was so excited, and when we got to go, I ran so fast I was almost at the end. When it was biking time, I started off and then I was happy because I was almost there. When I got to the finish line I got an ice-block. I felt glad that I was at the finish line.

My Grandma.

My Grandma Emmy is nice and we like walking on a path in the woods. My Grandma lives in Taupo. Sometimes we visit her, and at the lake we have a picnic. She has white hair. My Grandma likes swimming with me. My Grandma likes wearing flowery tee-shirts.

At the Aquatic Centre Mum and I sometimes play. My Mum chucks me in the air and when I drop, I go splash! When it's time to go, we get dressed and go home.

The Concert.

Last Saturday we went to a concert and it was cool. There were lots of songs and my Dad danced. And when it was finished, we went to a restaurant. After dinner we had pudding and we went home.
