Mr.Schwan's Laptop

For a little while when everybody was sick, Mr. Schwan's laptop got sick also. He took it to the apple store and it got a little bit better but they could not fix it so they are sending him a new one and we will all remember Ruth ( the laptop) and Mitchell ( his new laptop) is coming soon!

In 5th grade you can do something extraordinary. You will be able to talk to people about weather! It is a lot of fun. My person is Doug from Lenoir, North Carolina and his call sign is W4TMU. The fifth graders talk to their guy and record weather on sheets! It was a lot of fun. You should do it, too. THE END.

Hey every one you all have been a great audience and thanks for all the great comments. Its goodbye for me and hello to the new student who is taking my place. It has been an awesome year and I have made a lot of new friends and met up with some old friends from before. Space Camp was pretty cool I learned a lot of new things there and went on some awesome rides on the band trip to Islands Of Adventure in Orlando, FL. I went on my first loop de loop ride it was so much fun. All though some of my new friends are moving to different locations over the summer it is very sad. Good luck to whoever is in Mr. Schwan's class it is pretty tough but it is all worth it in the end. This is Gabby signing off! BYE BYE!

The evidence I saw that God was a God of second chances was in chapter 3. "When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened."
God has given me a second chance when I disrespected my mom and I prayed to God that night to forgive me for doing that and God and my mom forgave me.

About a book that I thought was interesting

Hi it's me again and I'm back with another topic to talk to you about. This one is about a book I recently read and to give the plot but not the ending. The book that I chose was Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinley. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is all about popularity and surviving middle school. Greg is going trick or treating with his best friend Rowley and they're walking down the street. These teens come whirping through in their car and are yelling and screaming but Greg decides to make a wise crack at it and Rowley and Greg end up running from them for the rest of the night. Next Greg's mother signs him up for the drama club and gets embaressed but he gets a chance to get back at this one girl named Patty and throws apples at her. The next big event was Christmas. Many, Greg's little brother, is picking everything in this catalogue to want for Christmas, long story short Many ends up getting every single thing he wanted for Christmas and all Greg got was a wool sweater.
Now we're getting back to school and the school is offering safety pratrol. Rowley and Greg ended up getting two of the jobs. One day Greg and Rowley were walking little kindergardeners home and Greg showed them a worm. Somehow Rowley got blamed for doing it but Greg actually did it. Rowley and Greg usually become friends again.
This book was the best book I have read in a long time. Also a really good author too. Now I don't want to spoil the ending so this is goodbye!

My favorite thing about fifth grade

Hi, I'm Gabby and I go to Saint Michael Lutheran School. The main thing I like about fifth grade is recess. Recess is my favorite thing because you can do whatever you want to and just chill out and forget all of your problems. Sometimes you can get caught in class talking or doing something your not supposed to do so you might have to write sentences or sit out or maybe do whatever you were supposed to be doing when you got caught. Otherwise for recess you just have fun, do your thing and branch out. Besides chillin you do some activities like tag, fish out of water, basketball, volleyball, soccer, or go on the swings. Usually I do one of those things but when I'm depresed I go and talk with my friends. That is what I like about 5th grade at Saint Michael Lutheran School.
