Hello friends. I am in LA right now visiting my cousins. I just got back from a week of total awesomeness. Part of the awesome ness is that Colton was there! We snorkled and found awesome shells, bought 100 slush puppies, and my favorite thight Colton said to me was, "get into that store and get me some dang twizzlers!" It was fun. We also had to swim at 9:00 am for an hour in the freezing Ocean! But the water was so clear! It was an awesome week. This part of my blog is to Mrs. Crosby only! So do not look! Hah! I saw you peeking! Oh, well anyway hi Mrs. Crosby. And one more thing to you: iiiiii, now you can not stop me from doing those tiny, little i's. Hah! Say his to Abby for me. If you ever want be mto blog again, send me credit card number.

I have been thinking for a while on what I should write on. I have a couple things to write on.
One thing I improved on is decimals. I finally understand the concept that you say the decimal as an and, not a point. Also I learned my place value of decimals.
Another thing I improved on was taking notes. You should have seen my notes that I took during those funny science videos! Individualy they were about a page long! That is a lot.
This Summer I have alot going on. We are going to California, Utah and Nevada.
In Utah we are going to Lake Powell to boat with our cousins. We are going to rent some wave riders and it is going to be awesome.
In California we are going to see our cousins and go the beach. We have alot of cousins in California so we probably are going to be there the longest.
In Nevada I doing a couple basketball camps and football is going to start. The basketball camps are called the Galena Basketball Camp. For football I am playing in SYFL for Galena.
In my opinion my favorite thing is going to be Catilina Island. Me and my friends are going there for a week for fishing, snorkling and awesomeness.
This my last blog so... by-by. Thank you for seeing my blogs. Please leave so comments. I will miss you.

In class we were supposed to read Saving Sea Turtles booklet and create a blog explaining my opinion on the connection on the following words-
Teamwork- People needed to have teamwork to help the baby sea turtles get to the ocean. Also all the people in the world need to have team work to save to sea turtles.
Soul- Sea Turtles are saved by people with kind souls. That means nice people help the baby sea turtles, not let them get eaten or squached by humans.
Kindness- This word kinda ties in with soul. Like when People need to have kindness to the sea turtles by helping them, not causing the problems.
Diversity- We have nothing incommon with the sea turtles, but we still help them and try not to make them extinct.
Risk- Turtles have to take alot of risks when they just hatch and when they have to walk to the ocean slowly with out getting eaten.

In The Witch Of black bird pond, (sorry I couldn't underline it) Kit has to face a new situation in her life. Now I have to tell you about a time that I had to face a new situation.
Not along time and not in a galaxy far away, Mateo Rasmussen moved from Texas to... ARIZONA=http://!!. When I first got there I was really excited because we had a HUGE pool and a big house and everything was awesome! That was until It was school time. I was sooooo nervous that I almost peed my pants, wait, no, my shorts. I was afraid that I will never make any friends and I will have to make imaginary ones! Believe it or not, I made friends!!! My first non imaginary friend was named Ralph. He was tall, blonde and skinny. He was cool. Life went on until, SCREECH! My dad said we were buying a bigger house and we were moving to a different school!
So I went through the same process as before. I was nervous, I peed my shorts and blah blah blah. BUT, another mirical happend! I made some other friends at that school! But my best friend there was a Mormon named Jack. He was as tall as Reece, dirty clonde hair, and BEAST at QB.
When we found out that my dad got a better job in this weird place called Rino or something like that and we would have to move AGAIN, I literally flipped out, I was so pissed. So in the middle of the school year, I transfered schools.
When we arrived in Reno and I went to Hunsberger for the first time and saw my class, I was like, Wow, my class is that ugly? Just kidding I actually said Cool class. So I had to adapt to the snowy, dry Reno.

This Christmas break I made an interesting observation that has been going on for years.
My observation is that whenever there is a holiday, all of the kids in my family wake up at like 4:00 am. This Christmas all of my siblings except me and Ninna woke up at 3:00 am! It is like their nerves tell their brain at 3:00 am that they need to wake up. I think it is a bad thing to wake up at 3:00 and then having to wait a couple hours to open hours to unwrap presents. I still can't believe that I did not recognize that before.

Hello everyone, I am here to talk to you about a Christmas memory that was funny, exiting or special. I will let you decide witch category it fits.
It was a couple days before Christmas Eve when my mom told my brother and I that we were for Christmas going to Oregon to see my Grandparents. My brother and I were so exited that we were going to see gapa and gama. So we packed up and got on the plane to Oregon.
When we arrived at gapa’s and gama’s house, we went ice skating at Mr. Wirlwonder’s ice skating rink. I thought I was so big and tough that I didn’t need a red bar thingy to hold on to while skating. Well, it turned out I did need the red bar thingy. After I fell a couple hundred times, my parents FORCED me to use a red bar thingy. That red bar could’ve saved me from breaking a couple bones. So don’t think I am weird when you see me worshiping a red bar.
When we got back to gapa and gama’s house, we had this wonderful feast and then went to bed. It was Christmas Eve at the time so I was sooo exited that Santa was coming. I thought if I stay awake I would hear Santa downstairs putting presents under the tree and goodies in the stockings.
The next morning at about 5am, I woke up not waiting for 6am when we are supposed to start opening the presents and rushed down the stairs finding Porter already halfway done opening one of his presents. I stopped him just in time so he could not see what he got. I explained to him the concept of opening the biggest one first, but he just wanted to open the first one he could get his hands on.
When I opened my first present it was a PLASTIC TOOL BOX WITH TOOLS IN IT! It was exactly what I wanted! It had a screwdriver, a hammer and a drill! The whole morning I played with it, not even stopping for breakfast!
That was my memory of Christmas.

We in class are reading this book called Family Tree. In this book Tyler has problems with her family past. Her dad never told her Grandparents she was born. Tyler got so mad and basically she will never forgive him. And there is a lot of other stuff messed up about her ancestry.
I have a similar experience. When I was little (like five or six or seven or eight or nine or ten) I was asked to clean my room one day. I am always asked to clean my room, but this particular day I WAS IN A CRABBY CROSBY MOOD!!! ARGGGGG!! Sorry, that wasn’t necessary. But I was in a really, really Horrible mood, with a capital h! So I was there for a long time until I chose to clean it, for time’s sake. And guess what?????????????? I found my monster truck that I had been looking for a LITTLE LONGER THAN AN HOUR! THAT LONG! Well I am glad the world didn’t end, but if I waited one more second, I would have gone by-by!
Love,
Mateo

Terrorism

The year long topic I want to focus on is Terrorism. Terrorism is the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. I think it is a good topic for me because when Osama Bib Laden got killed, I was wandering why is everyone making a big deal about one guy being killed? Thousands of people have been killed before. So what's the big deal? When I discoverd that he was a terrorist and killed thousands of people in the 911 and destroyed the twin towers, I was like WOW, I am glad he got killed. Also Osama Bib Laden was the dude who found out the world's most dangerous terrorist orginization, Al-Qaeda. In 1987 Oliver North said "Watch out for him, he is the most evil man in the world.
I also want to learn about Terrorism because I want to know why people do these horrible things to innocent people, even when they don't deserve it. I guess some people like to see other people suffering and being killed. I sure wouldn't want to do that.
My last reason about why Terrorism is a good topic for me is that if terrorists are a big problem why don’t we take some solders away from the war and get some air force people and lead an attack on the Middle East? Or we could get out allies to help us get rid of terrorists once and for all.
