Hey bloggers readers and friends I got back from my Seattle Salem trip I blogged about before we got out of school last Saturday and now I have to tell you all about it. We woke up fairly early well me 7:48 but we left almost an hour later because of many stops. It took us an hour to get out of Reno! But about five hours later we went into a town to get lunch in a small town starting with the letter A. But it was a very green town in Oregon. Then we drove for about four more hours and we landed in Salem, Oregon the capitol. We stayed at a comfort inn and it was just a stop not a destination because if it was we would have been able to find a dinner place in less than an hour. We drove over the Willamette river and it was beautiful and then we found a small café or dinner place that was our last resort. But it took another thirty minutes to get back to the hotel and we had to stop by Fred Meyers (the Costco of Salem) because my dad forgot his bathing suit so we spent thirty minutes their. But its called making memories. In the morning we packed up the car and started our four five hour trek to our next destination. We stopped by the Mt. St Helens visitors center which was one of three. It was very interesting. No we had one more hour to go to get to Bellevue Washington or Seattle because it was just over a lake and a mountain so we said we stayed in Seattle. We always like to swim so we hit the pool forgetting that it was 4:30 and we had to go to a very fancy dinner with my dads old buddy. So we didn’t even shower. But we stopped by their house and then we went to Daniels broiler. We went outside and we saw the space needle out in the distance I could not wait till we got to go there the next day. In the morning of course we missed the breakfast but I was not as hungry I was to excited to get there. So we hopped in the car and drove across the floating bridge. After we had to find a place to park so we went to a parking garage under which was amazing we didn’t hit sea water it was six levels deep crazy! So we went to pikes place market. We were all starving at that point so we went to the first star bucks. And we got coffee and left way to many people! Then we went to a little French café. My mom and I got chocolate croissants. They where amazing! Then we went to a moneral that went to the space needle. It took 40 seconds to get up to the top of the space needle . The view was amazing and we went back down and walked around to see if anything looked fun to do and nothing seemed very interesting so we headed back to the moneral.
The very first Nordstrom’s was created there too! So we looked in there and got a few things. After my brothers flip-flop broke so we stopped at old navy. But then we went to the most disgusting thing ever…
THE GUM WALL!! It was full of gum! It was gross. But that seemed enough fun for us so we got our car and left the city. We had dinner in our hotel and then went swimming!! The pool of course was open twenty four seven but kids had to leave by 10:00 not just get out of the pool but leave the pool room the turned of the lights water fall and everything but so we swam for an hour and a half and went to bed . The next morning we had breakfast and packed up the car and left for Core D’Alene Idaho. It was a six hour drive and we stopped at an amazing waterfall. We stayed at a holiday inn and suites. They gave a free dinner and breakfast and cookies and milk! We went to dinner and the to bed.
But the next day we went to a dock with many fun activities and we picked… Parasailing! It was so fun my mom and I went and my dad and brother went . The parachute went over 600 ft. in the air! It was very fun. Then we walked the strip with small stores and lunch/dinner places. Then we went on a pirate cruise and that was fun too. Then we went swimming and out to dinner. The next morning we ate breakfast and my brother had our room key (not the best decision in the world) and he just decided to go in the pool.
But we then went to McCall Idaho to another one of my dads old buddies. But my dad has nicknamed him spud because it’s a potato name and he is from Idaho. We went fishing and I learned how to split a worm yuck! We did campfires both nights and the next day we went to a hot springs. And surprise surprise the water was hot! But after we went to a small lunch place and had a quick snack. Then we went back and canoed to the beach. The water was especially cold because the sun was hiding and the wind was blowing! But we had steak and bacon for dinner and than a campfire ended our last day. We stayed up till Saturday and in the morning we left for… Reno! Yay! But I hope you got to hear good times on my summer vacation! But next you’ll hear the story of the 4th and my cousins!!!

Hello other bloggers and readers. I believe that I have improved on my communication skills because in the beginning of fourth grade I didn’t know anyone in my class but now that I have been with almost the same people in my class for two years not just one. But we have been doing many in front of the class assignments like now we are supposed be the “teachers” for a little science lesson on Friday but this time its with a group but we have done a fair amount of assignments that we do on our own. But this summer my family is planning a trip to Seattle/ Portland/ other places ;-)
But we plan to do many things like see the first ever Starbucks in Seattle.
Also we plan to go to our friends cabin. Hope you learned something I improved and my summer. Bye!!!:-)

Saving Sea Turtles

Hello fellow bloggers today I’m blogging about this book Saving Sea Turtles and I need to tell you my opinion on the connection of these words teamwork, soul, kindness, diversity, and risk. My opinion with the connection of these words is well you need to know the definition so,
Teamwork: cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause.
Soul: the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part.
Kindness: the state or quality of being kind
Diversity: the state or fact of being diverse; difference; unlikeness.
Risk: exposure to the chance of injury or loss; a hazard or dangerous chance
Now I feel like kindness and diversity are connected because in their definitions kindness the state or quality of being kind and in diversity the state or fact of being diverse. It’s both the state or fact or quality. With soul and risk they both require action in humans and they both have humans involved in getting hurt or loss.
Teamwork and risk because you could risk getting hurt working with a group or you could risk getting a bad grade.

Kit in the book witch of blackbird pond had to face a new situation in her life and that was she had to work in the fields in Connecticut and she had to face the situation of working for her food. My new situation is that a year ago my parents told me they where having another baby meaning I had to have a new brother. At first I was excited but three months later my mom had a test saying what gender the baby would be. I was at wild island for a girl scout field trip and my parents called a friend who took me too wild island and then the mom put my parents on speaker and they told me it was going to be a boy. I was hoping for a girl because I am the only girl in my entire family both sides. I cried because I was wishing for a sister. I then went into the bathroom with my friend and started talking about boy names for my new brother. I still had the phone on so my mom could hear the names my friend and I came up with.
Nathan
Nathanial
Nolan
Justin
Jack
But when it was time for the baby to come there was practically a war over which name Nolan (my dad) or Nathanial (my mom) He was sent to the NICU (Nedo intensive care unit) for breathing issues and he was the only baby with no name for four days but my parents finally settled on Nolan. He came home twelve days after birth and now Im glad to have a baby brother.

AH lthe holiday season it's the most wonderful time of the yeaqr well for some of us. For me and my family the day after Thanksgiving is supposed to be for getting the decorations down and putting them up again. But this year we were at my grandparents house and we wern't gonna leave the day after Thanksgiving. My grandma was looking through the black friday news papers and good deals for black friday. "one year I wanna go black friday shopping." said my grandma
" You know Anna, lets do it" coming from my dad
" What? well if you go"
And their I was at the end of the table thinking of course I would go.
" I'll go I'll go!!" Me yelling from the end of the table.
" of course you can go!!" screamed my dad. I was so excited i'd never seen how many people their were. I could not wait. We all took showers and got ready to go to an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. At about two we went and had a great dinner. But of course the crazy trafic hit us when we were coming home. Some people even started turning around. We had moved about a few inches when some people moved up the on ramp we had heard on the radio that one car had went about 100 mph and flipped then another car ran into the flipped car. Then suddenly another car ccan down the on ramp and a cop was chasing him we coulden't tell if he was shouting or if it was his flash light. But my mom had screamed "he's shooting he's shooting!"
I was so scared!!! But we made it home in time to whatch elf. I got my pj's on and we went to the closest Macys for pots and pans! It was only 11:30 and no one was in the parking lot. When we went into the mall their seemed to be a lot more people in the mall then possible because their were no cars in the parking lot. We walked alot around the mall until about 11:55 and I was pumpped. When twelve o'clock came around everyone poured into macys like milk into a cup. Thankfully my grandma told us to get in line fast. My dad got his pots and pans I got gifts for my mom and grandma. We got home at about 1:00 and I had the experence of a life time.

Have you ever misunderstood somone or couldn't under stand what they were saying? Well this blog is all about misunderstanding only when I misunderstood. It was a bright Friday morning in July. I was very excited because today we were going to see grandma! We were driving for eight hours!!!! Fianlly we reached are destanation but it wasn't what mom and dad said. We landed in Disney land! But it was either 11:30 or 12:00 at night. I couldn't read the Disney Land sign because when they spell it they spell it with the weird'st D. Dumbly I thought we were at grandma's! "Must have been some weird edition to grandma's house" I thought to my self. When we got in (still thought it was grandma's) their was beautiful! Marble floors and high sealings. But I had misunderstood my parents when they told me "were going to grandma's" But it is like when Tyler was thinking she was going to flunk 6th grade if she didn't have oor do well on her family tree project.

I chose Universal Healthcare because it is a big problem in our country today. For example some people in Africa can’t get healthcare because they cant pay. This same problem is occurring in the united states. Usually people who cant pay maybe because they cant get a job. I want to do Universal Healthcare because it is such a big problem today.
