End of the School Year

6/11/09, today is last full day. Tomorrow we only have a half day and I can’t wait till school is over. Over summer I’m going to do so many stuff. But don’t worry I’m still going to write articles and send comments. Did you get out to school yet?

Traders came to trade with Indians.
People in factories had to work for 20 hours.
Workers were protesting for less time in the factories.
There are two sides Republican and Democratic.
Rich fur traders traded fur to people long ago.
La Cross was one of the fist games played in Wisconsin.
There was a big protest because of black and whites.
Indians traded dogs to people for money or fur.
Back then people made copper arts and crafts.
Wisconsin became the 30th state in 1848.

Do you like mysteries? In these mysteries these kids race in a boat to win 5000 dollars! The book is called the phantom ship. This book is written by Laura E. Williams. Do you think that is weird to win 5000 dollars?
This book has many characters they are Zeke and Jen. There are many more I just don’t know how many there are? Here is a short summary to this book captain! Zeke called, scrambling to his feet. Captain, come here! What is it? The tall lanky captain asked as he made his way to Zeke’s side. See a sea monster in the triangle? That’s all I can tell you you’ll have to read the rest.
I think you should read this book because it is exciting. One thing is it has many suspects. This book is for kids older than 7. Kids unger than7 are not going to enjoy it because they’re to young.
You should read this book because it is exciting and pack with action. If you try it you might like it. I think the book has many suspicious characters so please if you want you can read it.

My Block Party

My block party comes once a year in June or July. I have a blast it is so fun we do all these good stuff. At night we always play ghost in the graveyard. The games change each year so we don’t always know what the parents come up with. My favorite part is where all the parents are eating dinner and we ride bikes and ride all these random stuff. I also like were you take soda and shake it and throw it and it blows up. And we jump in the bounce house and stuff. But some times we fight on what we should play.

This year I m doing Jr Blue dukes and I can’t wait! You get to have uniforms and everything you even get to play teams from other towns. But there is one problem we need I think four more people if we don’t have enough we have to get third graders or fifth graders and ya. I just want fourth graders. It’s just like a football team you get your very own position last year I played 7v7 football. The bad thing is you have to do hard work but its worth it. I can’t wait till Jr blue dukes and a lot of people I know are playing but we need a couple more people!

John the Blacksmith

Hi, I'm John, I work at a blacksmith shop. I came from England to Wisconsin. I have one wife thats it and the trip was long to me. Once we came a pond the Wade house I got a job as a blacksmith. It was successful my wife found friends I also found friends too!
I use iron to make stuff. I make horseshoes and oxen shoes and other stuff. People who live or work at the Wade house think I'm helpful. I see a lot of friends at my shop. I wonder why I never see my wife?
When i live at the Wade house I get paid 25 cents or more because I'm the only blacksmith around. I can get paid enough to get abed and a meal but one more thing Mrs.Wade is so nice he gives use a second mattress and I also live on the third floor I let my wife sleep on the bed and I just sleep on the floor with the mattress. I'm having a good life,I also like being a blacksmith too!
The hard thing about being a blacksmith is that I don't get that much days off besides Sunday. On Sunday I spend most of my time with my wife than I go to the barroom. The barroom the barroom is strictly for men only!. The barroom has two names the taproom and the saloon. But than I need to go back to work.
Whoops it looks like I'm running out of ink so I got to go, hope I see you here at the wade house good bye for now!

My Birthday
My birthday comes once a year and I have a BLAST! Every year I have a party and I usually have a sleep-over party. I invite about 6 or 7 people and they bring there stuff. Once I had a party and 9 people came and my mom and dad were like wow! We play games and stuff at night we play Ghost in the Grave Yard and capture the flag and more. And we stay up till 11 or 10. We play video games and watch move and stuff. I wonder what I’m going to do for my next party. That was my stuff that I would do at my party!

Lewis and Clark
Do you like adventure moments, great characters and more! Well this is one you will like for sure Lewis and Clark by George Sullivan. There’s no illustrator because these pictures were natural recourses!
Here are the book’s characters in this book Lewis: a nice and brave man to friends and family. Clark: also a nice and brave man too. On the journey you get to meet Sacagawea: a loving kind girl who helps Lewis and Clark to the Pacific Ocean. That whole thing that I wrote was the summary of everyone. Read to find the rest of the store and more characters in the store.
Remember to read this book because it has good History, and good excitement and more. So just try it you mite like it or something I say it’s a good biography book. The facts in this book are just unlivable good you could do something with the facts and you can see what Lewis and Clark wrote in their journals. But to see what they wrote you need to read the book. You mite even learn something in this book but what’s cool is president Jefferson is in this book too!
This book is for kids and adults too and for kids who can read. But you can do a biography on and more. Remember the whole main idea and stuff was to read this book. Read this amazing book and adventures book of Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea too!

The Hot Day
It was a hot sunny day and I decided to play out side and play sports or games. We played Street Hockey, capture the flag, and when it got dark out we played ghost in the grave yard and more. It was really fun because it was warm and when it got dark out it was nice and cool out I thought it was a fun day to play out side because it was warm out and many people were out and that told me that I could get people to play with me and when every one had to go in. Me and my friend were the only ones out and I ask if my friend could have a sleep over and he asked and he said it was ok and we stayed up till 11 or 11:30 and we watched movies and his mom got us slushy and flurries and we also played video games and that was my really fun day!
