House in the Mountains

It was Halloween. My family and I were going to the mountains to have some relaxation.

We had fun till the electricity went off. Every one lit a candle. I went up to my room to get my flash light. I heard a sound behind me. I turned and oh it was just a pumpkin and I brought my flashlight down. Forty-five minutes later, the electricity came back. We had a barbecue and marshmallows. The electricity went off again so I thought my dad and 2 brothers were going to scare me like every year, so I went up to my room and got my computer game to show my dad. When I went down, I didn’t find anyone, not even my mom so I got scared. I turned and saw a German shepherd and a fox. It was a shadow of my dad's hand and my brothers' hands. We told each other scary stories till the electricity came back.

We watched some T.V. and then we all went to sleep. But in middle of the night, we all heard a crash in our kitchen. My dad went down and found a burglar stealing all my my mom's jewelry. I called the cops and they came just in time. I whispered to my mom, “It’s the last time I come to the mountains”.
My brothers said the same thing. My mom said, “It’s up to you boys”, actually we wanted to stay after all that fun and excitement. It never happened in Beirut.

Next Halloween we are going to go to my mom’s village. We like my mom’s village much more.
