Fourth Grade Year

It is now the end of fourth grade and fifth grade is coming up! This is all the things we did this year.
The last week of fourth grade we are working on our tales books. Our tales books are all the stories we have about fourth grade. We are also working on our poetry books. Our poetry books has poems about fourth grade and other things too.
Our class just had field day last Friday too. Blue won, maroon came in second, and white cam in third. In our class white won, blue came in second, and maroon came in third.
We also had a great kapok tree play and I was a monkey.
Our class also had field trips and our class was the only class in fourth grade that got to go on a science day trip. We went to 3 museums and they were really cool too.
Mr. Ortman also shaved his head in the Race For Education assembly and there was a raffle and I won the wii.
There was so many fun things to do in fourth grade that it is so much to tell, but that was just the highlight of fourth grade. I hope you liked it and learned a lot about what I did in fourth grade.

Easter was the best break ever! I got a lot of candy and it was awesome! The night before, I watched a movie with my brother. My family and I had dinner, and before dinner my sister, brother, and I jumped on my trampoline. After that, my mom, sister, and I colored eggs. I made a very cool egg! I had dessert after coloring eggs. I had a sugar cookie and cake. Then next morning, I woke up and looked for eggs. After that, I went to church. I played for the rest of the day, and at night I finished watching a movie with my brother. I had a very fun Easter. I love my candy too!

Science Day!

Science day is coming up and we are going on a field trip to S M Manor. We are getting a free bus ride, a free lunch, and a free visit. We were going to meet Mireya Mayor, but she has to stay home. Instead of meeting her we are going to meet the critter cam guy. My class is working in groups for a science poster and my group S, A, and me. My group and I are working on a video and a poster for turning trash into food. We are finished everything and I am really looking forward to going to the country club and have chinken fingers and french fries. I can't wait!

Evaporation and Condensation

Do you want to learn about evaporation and condensation? If so keep reading. Evaporation is when you leave a liquid on a table or shelf for about a week, the amount of liquid in the jar looses its liquid. In school we did an experiment when we leave water in different places around the room, then two to three days later the water evaporates. Also to way the water evaporates is what kind of jar or location you put your liquid in. Now that is what evaporation is.
Do you now want to learn about condensation? condensation is when you put something on a cold surface, and when it is still cold you can blow on it, and the water vapor from your mouth makes the water bottle have little droplets of water vapor on the bottle, and a very thin frost on the bottle. We tried this condensation experiment in school when Mrs. Griffin took a metal water bottle, and filled it up with snow. Next, she blew water vapor on the bottle. Then, she put food dye in the bottle, and the outside of the bottle had little droplets of water vapor on it, and a very thin frost.
Now you have learned about evaporation and condensation. Hope you learned a little bit about evaporation and condensation.

Snowboarding

The best winter activity I like do do in the snow is snowboarding. I like to go to Hansel park and snowboard off the huge hill. I also like to snowboard by a big hill on my front lawn. Also, this year a plow came down a cul-de-sac in my neighborhood and it has ramp you can go off, and a huge hill. I don't live on a cul-de-sac, but I visit it just to go snowboarding. Then, yestarday my lawn was a sheet of ice so it was easy to snowboard off that. This winter was the best year to go snowboarding, and I hope next year will be better!

Winter break was the best! For Christmas eve I watched a movie with my sister Nikki. Then, we had a great dinner. After that, I watched another movie then went to bed. In the morning I woke up and there were a lot of presents under the tree. My favorite present was a trampoline. After that, I went to church and my grandma,grandpa,and my aunt came over. I played with a lot of my things. But, before I knew it Christmas break was over!

Halloween

For Halloween I am going to be a skeleton. My basement is always haunted every year because I put skeleton lights in the entrance of my stairs and I put lots of other scary decorations in my basement. For Haloween I always go trick-or-treating with my friends. I am hoping to get some money for UNICEF so kids can get fresh drinking water. I also hope to get lots and lots of candy. Then when I get home I usally count how much candy I got. I wish I beat my record from last year getting 657 pieces of candy. I hope to have the best Halloween EVER!

4th grade is really fun. It is fun because you
get to do lots of harder things. Like you get to read lots books and you also get to do harder math. Another great thing is that Mrs.Griffin is really nice. So that's all the fun things about fourth grade already!

My dots can hypnotize you becauseI drew one big dot and I drew lots of mini dots in it. I drew nine dots that can also hypnotize you too. My dots have lots of colors in them too. My dots can hypnotize you because if you draw one big circle you can draw mini ones in it. Well I hope you liked my dots.
