Facts about smoking:
1)about 8.6 million Smokers in the U.S have at least 1 serios illness caused by smoking
2)1 in 5 deathes are caused by smoking
3)every day about 3800 teens under 18 try there first cigarette and 1000 stay daily smokers
4)cause lung cancer
5)2 hand smoke can cause health problems to others around you
Opinions about smoking:
1)some people think it is ok to smoke
2) some people think 1 smoke a day will not hurt you
3)some people think that 2nd hand smoke cant harm you like actually smoking can
4)Some people are losing a lot of money on cigerettes
5)some people don't care if they are harming others when they are smoking because it is not them getting hurt

We are currently working on Literature Circles in Language Arts. Please respond to the following questions about your novel using complete sentences:
- How do you feel about the process of working in literature circle groups of 3-5 people?
I feel good about literature circles I am in a really calm and polite group we do get off hand some times but we always get back on track and start doing what we are supposed to do.
- What do you specifically like about your novel?
well i am doing tuck ever lasting and is a really good book really like when Winnie goes fishing with Miles because I love going fishing with my Dad at my cabin in the summer.
- Would your recommend your novel to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes i would recommend this novel to a friend that likes Suprises drama an some action i also think that it as easy novel to read so i would say any of my friends would love the book.
- How do you feel about the marking procedures for this unit? - - Have you decided what your mark is going to be? I like the marking thing an I .have decided what my mark is going to be I am going for an A+ because i need a challenge

Questions:
1. Why did the Canadian government want to sign treaties?
Government of Canada wanted to gain land from First Nation people for settlement, anti culture and industry .they also wanted to make a rail way through out Canada.
2. Why did the Aboriginal people want to sign treaties?
Because they were told that they could hunt,fish and trap animals. And they were told they would get ,Education,Heath Care and farming assistance.
3. What does the pipe ceremony represent? What is expected of those who participate?
They were expected to have a respectful trust worthy manner.
4. What was the significance of the buffalo at the time of treaty signings?
The significance of the buffalo was very important because they survived using the buffalo it was important during the sighing time because new comers were coming and hunting the buffalo that the First Nations used to survive
5. How do Canadians benefit today from treaties?
We benefit from treaty's because they owned our land and if they did not own the land we would not be able to live on the the land that we are in right now.So we would not be able to have our house our school or and building
g or place that we have in our city.
6. What does the concept “treaty” mean to First Nations people?
It that if the water flows and the green grass grows they would always be together and nothing would go wrong.
7. Who are the 4 nations that made
agreements in the area that was to become Saskatchewan?
the four nations are Cree,Saulteaux, Nakota and Dene are the treaty's in Saskatchewan

I think that the R word is very unkind. I think it is very offensive and rude because I have an autistic brother who cant talk. And when he goes out with my family to the movies I hear people always calling him the R word and I don't think that that is very nice even know he cant talk that does not mean he does not have feelings. So I think that our school should put up posters saying that the R word is not funny to say. And if any one catches you saying it you have to wright a note that says that you are sorry and wont say that word Again to the person you said it to.

As a class we read Double Identity And this is my review.
In the book Double Identity there was a 12 year old girl named Betheny who got droped off at her Antie Myrlies house she never knew she had and her Antie Myrlie did not know she had a niece.and Myrlies dauhgter did not know she had a cousin a real living cousin that is.
I think this book had a lot of real life facts in it.I also love this book because both of the main caracters(Elizebeth & Bethany) do the same sports as me. Elizebeth does gymnastics and i used to and Bethany does swimming just like me.So I relate to these Caracters very well from personal experience.
I love this book because it has so many cool twists and turns.My favorite part of the book was when Bethany got the package from her dad (the last time she heard from her dad)
I would strongly reccommend this book to everyone because it has so many twist and turns. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries,suprises,and drama .Even if you just like one of those things you would love this book it has lots of all of those things. I would totaly read this book again if I could.

I love Cheer Leading because you get to do stunts and and dancing and tumbling. In fact tomorrow we are going to a cheer leading competition at a high school and we get judged and we get trophies and every thing. I also love cheer leading because it is hard. I also love cheer leading because i get to hang out and spend time with my old friends and my new fiends. that is why I LOVE CHEER LEADING=http://!!

I love school. I miss school on breaks and holidays. I love school because I have tuns and tuns of friends at school. My favorite subject is math and language arts I also love school because if there was no school I would not been in Cheer Leading or any Extra Curricular activities I love school and I think who ever reads this should love school to=http://

(1) I think the piano stairs was my favorite video cause they actually make noise!!!I even saw a man that looked 85 and he was using the stairs!!!And the escalator was right next to the stairs that was a very smart idea=http://
(2) I think that all of the ideas would work because they found a way to make arcade games into things that help us in many ways. Like the speeding thing that was very smart. so was the seat belt video because they will help prevent car accidents.
(3) I think that they should do something that you put in a quarter and there is a video camera. You eat as many veggies as you can and try to get a high score I think that would make people eat veggies instead of junk food.

I think animal testing is wrong because animals deserve to like like we do! Animals are not meant to be tested on cosmetics! Animals die from being tested or the vets kill them because after.If i found out i was using a product that animals get tested on i would throw the product out and buy a product that is animal testing free!!that is why I think animal testing is wrong!!

What I learned today that I did not know was that he ran 3339 miles in 143 days. I thought he ran like 200 miles. I also did not know that he raised $241400 while he was running. I think terry fox life made an impact in the world because he risked his life for others.
Yes I think terry fox is a hero because my Nana had cancer and she is still alive and she 90 years old and my Antie had cancer she loved terry fox but she past away last year because of cancer. I admire about terry fox is that he believes and never gave up R.I.P terry fox.
