We went to Suessical on April 4th,at the Conexus Art Center. It was put together by “Do It With Class”. The characters were: Mayzie, The Monkeys, Horton, Joe-Joe, Joe-Joe’s Parents, The vulture ,Cat in The Hat , The Sour Kangaroo, and
Gertruid, those are all the characters I can remember.
It was based on Dr.Suess’ books:
Horton Hears a Who, Gertruid Mc. Fuz, and Horton Lays an Egg, I think that’s what its called right????
Anyway it was interesting and entertaining at the same time. I did sort of like the actual script because it was sort of exiting.
I also thought that the story it self worked well the only thing I did not like was when the microphones made a really high-pitched sound.
The characters were believable but the only thing I would change would be if the monkeys had ears and tails that would make them more believable. Also the body movement was very good and the thing I would of changed would have changed would be if the Kangaroos hopped not just ran around.
The whole thing like the lights, costumes, and costumes and everything over all was really well put together and awesome in my opinion .The music and orchestra was really good the really expressed the right moods and everything like that. The audience was very attentive and the overall play was awesome.

What did you learn about Pink Shirt Day that you didn't know before?
What I didn't know about pink shirt day is that I did not know it was on a Wednesday I always thought it would be better if it was on a Monday or something....
Did you have any connections to anything you read today that you would like to share?
No not really but I have been bullied once or twice at least.
What do you think needs to be done in schools to stop bullying?
Ummmmm...we could have a whole bunch of pink shirt days and we can also remind ourselves that if you have nothing nice to say than don't say anything at all.

Well we can tell people that are bulling to stop by standing up for anyone we getting bullied.

Facts & Opinions About Smoking

The difference between Fact and Opinion is that an opinion can be something that you may or not have proof of but a fact is something that can always be proven with some sort of resource or evidence.
Facts about Smoking:
1. smoking can cause breathing problems
2. smoking is bad for your heart ,lungs and other organs in your body
3. smoking can make your finger nails turn yellow
4. mothers that are pregnant and smoke have a chance that there baby will come out with some sort breathing problems or other problems
5. you can get cancer from smoking witch can lead to death
Opinions about smoking;
-smoking smells bad
-smoking is cool
-smoking is not cool
-smoking smells good
-I love smoking
(most of these r not my opinions..)

I've never said the R-word and I don't think that I'm ever going to
now that I watch and read the article.I also think it beyond wrong to say that word.We as a class can stop saying that word cause its
super mean and we can stop saying by reminding our selfs that it is super mean.

West Edmonton Mall

On the weekend I went to the West Edmonton Mall and we went to the water park there rented a little hut thingy and we went and got tubes for the whole family because my cousins were there with us. Then we went into the wave pool and got into my tube and floated out into the middle were the big waves were and sat there until I say the hugest wave ever and then it hit me so hard that I flipped off my tube kicked my uncle in the head smashed into my brother and hit this dude and then he smashed into this girl. So after that we went on this tube ride and then my parents made me go on the little kids slide with my 3 year old cousin (it was so fun....)
And then we went on this huge green one which was surprisingly boring. Then me and my dad went on the toilet bowl one and I hit my head super hard on the end and I almost passed out.....
So ya over all it was pretty fun!!! I hope we can again some time cause it was really fun!!!!

Animal Testing

I think animal testing is wrong even though I hate rats and mice but still it's still wrong like the animals are almost helpless against these tests. I think they should run tests on bad people that go to jail that don't deserve to live. Ya so that's all I can think of!!!!

My Ecological Foot Print

My ecological foot was like a 5.2 which is okay but five ways I could reduce my foot prints are:
1. I could reduce my household energy use-turn down my thermostat when i am not using it like at night.
2.I could use energy efficient light bulbs instead of the ones that take up more power
3. Instead of my parents driving me to school I could walk to school every day!(never going to happen!!)
4.I could recycle more instead of just throwing it in the garbage.
5.I could ask my mom to stop buying my brother from the dollar store cause they fall apart in like two seconds and yay more garbage for the garbage dude

Which channel did you think was the most interesting?
I thought the penuin channel was the most intresting because they were kida hopping around and they were sliding all aruond and it was also my favourite cause I love penguins there like my forth favourite animal next to a wolf.
Did you see anything that was interesting or surprising?
The one things that I thought was kida funny was when one of the penguins was trying to clim up this steap ramp up to a little corner and it kept slipping and slidding down the ledge and it adventually fell off.
Why do you think they have chosen to document nature in this way?
I think they chosen to document nature this way so they don't:
1.Desturb the animals &
2.So that the animals don't get freaked out when they see the big camara set and all the people and every thing they would ushaly do.
What benefits do you think this type of observation gives?
It gives the benifits of like being able to see most likly of what a animal would do every day like:eat,sleep,play and other things like that.
What do you think they are trying to learn more about?
The way animals behave in the wild or in a zoo for exaple like the penguins.
If you could set up a live feed anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would probly have a live feed thing in Africa cause there alot of wild animals in parts of Africa and also because I have allways wanted to go to Africa.

1) Based on the first few chapters, do you think you will like this book? Explain why or why not.
The book Hatchet was okay but after we got into the few first chapters it got to describing and boring so ya......I don't like it that much.
2) Describe how you might feel if you were in a similar situation to Brian. What do you think you would have done the same as him? What do you think you would have done differently?
If I were Brian what I would of done differently would be instead of just sitting there for a while after the pilot was dead I would have pushed him out of his seat and tried to land the plane faster than Brian did.
3) Make some predictions about what will happen in upcoming chapters. Explain why you have made these specific predictions.
I predicted that he will find his father or something like that because it said he lived in the "CANADIAN WILDERNESS".
4) What do you notice about Gary Paulsen's writing style? Do you like his writing so far? What would you ask him if you had the opportunity to interview him?
What I noticed about Gary Paulsen's writing is that it is very describing and boring if he actually made effort to put something interesting in his story I might make a effort to actually read them

''The Fun Theory'' videos were crazy cool. My favorite video was of course the piano stairs. I thought it was cool because you're getting a little bit of exercise while you're making music doing it! I think these videos would actually work because I have seen some pretty cool inventions. I also think they would work because there are some crazy smart people out there. One thing that I could think of that would be on the fun theory would be a horse trail with horses in a stable instead of using the gondola to go up a mountain.
