1. We have worked hard this semester. We have used lots of different software and hopeully challenged ourselves with our major project. Reports are getting closer and this project is coming to an end very soon. We need to complete our reflections to complete our assessment. Please answer the following questions by clicking on the comment link below:

1. Did your research serve any purpose - what did you learn if anything, how could it have been done better?

2. We all like to communicate as quickly as possible hence we use msn, text messaging, email etc. Is literacy the same as it was 10 years ago (explain)?

3. Some teachers say that msn and text messaging is nothing more than dribble and it has little depth of vocabulary. They say that it is not even an efficient form or communication where as Morse Code has been around for years and is much better. What is your opinion & what arguments would you give to support or oppose this opinion?

4. Where in the school curriculum, if anywhere, could nings, blogs and other social networks be used?

5. Should schools try to engage students by developing programs in school around activities that students do outside the classroom - explain (ie things such as computer games and social networking)?

6. During this project, was it a good idea to let students be more responsible for their learning hence let them use their class time in a way that suited them (explain)?

7. How much communication did you give and recieve from year 7 students and was this helpful to the development of your product?

8. Give a summary of your progress from beginning to the end of this proejct - discuss your use of class time, what you produced & how, ongoing improvement of your work and your communication & feedback with others.

9. Discuss any other things about this project that you have not covered - how challenging was this project, there were many parts where you had to think and communicate with others, does this make it harder and less enjoyable or is it good to have a challenge?

Today the Multimedia class start their Major Project. This will include some research, designing and producing.
