“Max, thanks for dropping me home from your party,” Matt sad. “Anything for my friend,” he replied. “Well, bye.”

“Bye,” I said as he walked inside his house and yawned. He was so tired from his party. I am going to sleep, I spoke softly to myself. When I got upstairs to my room I collapsed onto my bed. My legs were so numb I couldn’t even walk. When I was in my bed, I curled up like a snake. The second I closed my eyes, the door smashed open and my little sister Sussi. Who  can get really annoying ,jumped on my bed and yelled “GIVE ME THE CANDY!”

He told  “you just got a cavity, do you want another one now?”

“Yes,” Sussi replied.

“Why?”

She replied, “because I get a tooth brush after I go to the dentist” He was just too tired to deal with this so I just closed my eyes a fast asleep like a Lion. After 2 minutes or so my dream started as real life. I woke up as usually, same time, 7:30, took a shower, got my cloths on and went to get my breakfast. When I was sitting all nice my mom came with the food but there was a paper bag over it, and when she pulled it out it was…. A lobster and why would have a lobster for breakfast, so I skipped that meal. And said to his mom “um going to be late for school so bye” he rushed out the house and found out  was in a forest. He ran around the forest. Then he saw a small brown bear. He walked close to the bear because he saw a bear at zoo petted it. So as he walked closer to it growled at him but he was not scared. After he walked away, and then he ran to a hill and rested there for a moment. Everything was peace for a moment until it started to rain so he tried to look for shelter. The only thing that he could see from on top of the hill was a cave that was really high. So he walked to the cave and started to climb. It took him about 30 minutes but he didn't mind because he just wanted shelter. later on while he was in the cave he just wanted to get out of this wild dream after a hour he heard a small noise that was a plane but he was terrified of being in a plane so he hid somewhere. The people from the plane landed in the forest and searched for him but sadly they found him so he went in the very scary plane that had vines and all scratched up but you have to listen to an adult when they tell you something you have to do what the adult says so as soon as the plane started to fly I woke up it was 7:30 and he was late for school but he was glad to be awake.

It all happened when I was on my way to my grate grandmother’s grave at midnight. I was taking my shortcut through an alley when I heard footsteps at night.

I wondered who would be taking a walking in the city this time of night. I turned around and saw no one. i continued walking thinking i was crazy when I heard them again. my walk turned in to a jog and my jog turned in to a run and my run turned in to a sprint. The foot steps kept up. Then it grabbed me.

I reached in to my pocket and as the sharp, scaly hand was choking me. I priced myself as I felt for my pocket knife. I took it out and stabbed the muscular hand. As the iron pierced its slithery fingers it started to wither like a plant with out water for a month. I got loose.

I turned around and saw nothing. Horrified I ran out of the alley swearing to my self I will never go threw that alley again

03bunnygir -- Help Out the Earth, Mother Earth

Article posted December 4, 2010 at 07:31 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1216

Why should the environment on earth matter to you? Why? It doesn’t have anything to do with you. Wrong. It actually has a lot to do with you, because you live on the earth. You spend your whole life living on this planet. You laugh and smile when you get a perfect score on an extremely difficult test. When you’re sad or depressed, you shed your tears in Mother Earth’s arms while she cradles you and sings a sweet, angelic lullaby tune. Also, don’t hurt Mother Earth, because you don’t own her.

You scream and rage when the world seems to fall apart. But after awhile, you mood would usually lighten, and everything will be alright after all. And it’s true. Just one major thing. There will be no more Mommy Earth to comfort and protect you anymore in her arms, when you are sad, mad, and so on. Every time you destroy Mother Earth, even just a little bit, it prevents you from having clean, crisp, clear, fresh water in the future. From being able to explore the animals that are endangered. To study more about the world. It will bring you one step farther from living in a tidy environment, from seeing beautiful landscapes. Every tree you steal from her, every molecule of carbon dioxide and gas you expose into the air and up into the atmosphere, every single time you litter on the earth, you will have not only hurt the earth, but yourself, being your the one living on the earth too.

How many of you wondered how global warming started? I’ll tell you how. The sun’s heat comes into the earth during the day. At the same time, carbon dioxide is being released into the air. When this happens, the earth’s atmosphere gets clogged up with all types of gases, including carbon dioxide. Then, the sun’s heat that came in during the day, can’t go back out at night because the earth’s atmosphere is filled with different bad gases. Since the heat can’t get out, it’s stuck in the earth. This causes global warming, which also causes glaciers to melt and animals dieing, such as the polar bears.

Did you know that in fifty years, there will be no more clean water for you to drink from? That’s because we keep polluting and damaging our fresh waters. How? Well! First, let’s talk about the extremely huge oil spills. For example, the Gulf of Mexico spill. It caused a major ruckus. Even if oil spills can be in salty waters, they still pollute the water. Also, because of oil spills, the underwater marine creatures that stay near the surface are dieing. It is this way because they have no clean water to breathe in, and to live in, and it’s killing them. We are also damaging our waters by littering them. Did you know that when you drop a plastic Ziploc bag into the ocean, turtles think they are their usual yummy jellyfish meal, turns out it’s a plastic bag that can kill and choke them! Many sea turtles die that way, if not another way. If we could find a way to change salty ocean water into fresh water, then that would be great. If we didn’t have major oil spills, then that would also be great. If people didn’t litter at all, that would be extremely awesome. As for now, no one knows how to do any of these.

The earth and its environment really should matter to you because you live and survive on thisplanet. Without Mother Earth, you wouldn’t even be alive. Recycle, turn of the lights when you don’t need them, shut the faucets to prevent dripping, and try to help out the earth!

05Goldenhawk -- Skyping With Mr.Crosby's Class

Article posted December 4, 2010 at 07:07 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1287

Free Blog
We do a lot of different things in our class but what I love to do most is skyping with Mr.Crosby’s class in Nevada. When we first met I particular was really exited because I never skyped before. Our class was all huddled up together so Mr.Crosby’s class could see us. When I saw how the skype system worked I started to understand how the site works. When everything was ready we started to talk about the state we each live in and our favorite things to do. The thing that got me really surprised was that everyone in the state of Nevada loved soccer. We also had a lot of questions and so did they. We had a lot of fun meeting for the first time. Then everything became serious.

Have you ever have you gym teacher come into your classroom? Well that’s what happened to our class. Mr.Lesak, or gym teacher, came into our classroom and talked about the science in golf. Both classes ours and Mr.Crosby's class had a lot of questions for Mr.Lesak. One golf club was called a driver. It was really fun. With this lesson with Mr.Lesak made us understand each other better.

Now we started meeting them separately for science. I am in the Solar Energy group. Our group went out to the break out room (That's the other room that we have if we want to talk in private with only one group.) to talk about science in my solar energy group both in Nevada and here. What we did was choose different experiment topics we are doing. For example my group is doing the transfer from solar energy to thermal (heat) energy. We also learned about what each group knew about solar energy. This is when we skyped with the people in Nevada separately.

I’m pretty sure that we will be doing a lot more skyping in this whole school year and I know that each time will be a new experience for everyone. I am pretty sure that everyone had a lot of fun doing this, I know I did. We also learned many things about each other. I know that the really cool thing that I like is a cool experience to actually try to skype with other people. I know that everyone who tries this will really enjoy this for I know that I did.

06yumyumcupcakeextreme -- What kind Of Dog Is Perfect For You

Article posted December 6, 2010 at 02:17 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1155

By Alexandra

Are you looking for a dog?  Do you know anything about what dog you want?  Do you and your family want a dog so badly but you just don’t know which one to pick?  Well, if you need information about your future perfect dog, then please continue to read this blog.

Male or Female?

Girl dogs tend to be more calm and easier to train.  Girls dogs are usually quieter and are easier to housebreak.  Get a girl dog if you are planning on breeding your dog.  Small girl dogs are also fun to dress up.

Boy dogs are good if you want affection.  They are also more reliable.  Boys dogs can be clumsy and goofy but they want to please their owner more than girls dogs.

Big or Small?

A big dog is good for protection.  It is also good for someone who likes to take long walks or runs with their dogs.  Big dogs need a lot of exercise.   A big dog is also good for rough playing and taking them to the park to play frisbee.  I would not recommend getting a big dog if you have young children.

Small dogs are good if you want your dog to lay on your lap and relax with you.  They are good with little kids.  They are friendly and likable.  Smaller dogs make less of a mess and they cost less to take care of.  Small dogs are also good for people who live in apartments or small houses.

Playful or Calm?

Puppies are more playful and need more attention.  They also need to be trained.  If you have the time and want to train your own dog, then a puppy is good for you.

Older dogs are more calm and need less attention.  If you don’t have time to train a puppy then an older dog is a good choice for you.

Pedigree or Mutt?

Pedigree dogs are good because you will know how big they will grow and what they will look like when the grow up.  You will know their breed.  They come in specific colors, shapes and sizes.  Pedigree dogs can be expensive.  You will know how a pedigree dog will act.

Dogs that are mutts are good if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on a dog but a lot of time too.  You may not know for sure what kind of dog it is and how big it will grow to be.  Mutts are usually available to adopt at a local shelter for not to much money.

Here are some helpful tips about different breeds of dogs.

07DrawingOrange -- Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

We drove over to my Nonna’s and Grandpa’s house to celebrate half of Thanksgiving.  My Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, and my cousins were there. The first thing I ate was my Nonna’s homemade pasta and meatballs.

Next, we all took turns getting our picture taken carving the turkey. Then I had a slice of the turkey that we carved, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and broccoli. I have to say that was amazing!                                                         Finally, my family went to my cousin’s house for dessert. They had brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and chocolate cake. Here’s what I put on my plate: 1 bowl of ice-cream, 1 slice of chocolate cake, 2 cookies, 1 brownie, and 1 slice of apple pie. Then, I had a stomach ache. That was the best Thanksgiving I’ve ever had!

The Scariest Ride in the World

My legs were shaking.  Was I going to die or was I

going to live?  Well at least we know I lived, because I’m

here to write this story.  So here’s how it started.

I went on a ride called Tower of Terror in Disney.

It’s a scary ride in Florida.  I didn’t know it would drop.

It’s an elevator that drops.  I thought I was going to drop

to my death.  AAAAAAAAAA=http://

I’m going to die!  Stop the ride!  I said.  That’s the

The Time I Went On A Skeleton Ride In Wonderland

When I got to Wonderland I was so exited until. My family decided to go

on a really scary ride. I was so terrified but I had to go on the ride anyway. I asked my dad, “Do I really have to go on the ride.”

He said, “Its your choice if you want to go on it or not.”

I said, “Fine I`ll go on it.”  Then we had to walk to the ride which was on the other side where my family and I were. We had to go on a lot of stairs before we could wait on line. Then, we got on the line. So I was waiting in the line with my family. But the line was so long which I expected to happen because I didn't want to go on the ride. But the line went so fast that it was my turn to go. But I didn't want to go by myself. So I asked my uncle, “Can I go on the ride with you?”

He said, “Sure I`ll go on the ride with you Gurleen.” It looked so scary to me but everybody else wasn't scared like I was. I didn't even want to go on it. But I just wanted to get the ride over with so I could go on other rides. I saw the darkness, I saw skeleton faces which made me even more frightened and heard sounds of a ghost. I sat in the car and It started to move. I shut my eyes as tight as I could and held on to my uncle really tight too. I started to smell something it was blood and death it smelled so disgusting. Then, a skeleton started to touch me with its bonny fingers. It felt so weird. I held my uncle even more tighter so the skeleton couldn't touch me. Finally, the ride was over it was such a relief. I felt much more better after the ride ended. And my uncle asked me, “That wasn't scary.”

I replied, “It was ok.” Then we left the skeleton ride. And went to go on the other rides in Wonderland.

10cottoncandies -- Swimming Through Numbers

Article posted December 2, 2010 at 04:35 AM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 1378

Swimming through Numbers

When you say math, you’ll see me disappointed, down, and definitely not willing to do math. I am never eager to do math because I don’t like it. My math skills are not impressive, I can never concentrate on my math homework, or I always need someone to explain to me a few times about the math topic and then, I will finally understand. That just means my brain is very determined to stay silent while I do math.

You’ve got to know though, that it wasn’t always like this. My brain hasn’t always felt frozen during math. In the past, I don’t remember any day or even any second that I had trouble doing math. That is so strange because I started to struggle in math since the end of last year. And how am I doing math now? Well, I don’t really see good signs. My math scores dropped and I struggle more in math. It is a very weird thing for me. I am usually a average student and I am so disappointed in my math skills.

So you think I’ll just talk about my disappointment and give up math? No way!! I will pay back my math frozen brain someday. I will always try to ask someone to explain more about my math work, even though I would be certainly kind of embarrassed to be the only one needing help. I will try to do more math at home..but I am not so sure if I will because sometimes I don’t feel like doing extra work. But I know who I am, and I know for sure if I try hard enough, I would be able to improve my math and pay back my brain! I would also like to say that I don’t mind asking my “mighty” teachers for help.

Like I said, I know who I am, and what I could do. Since I had no trouble in math untill now, I will go back to those times when I did math perfectly fine. I will work hard as I can, ask for as much support as I can find and I will achieve my goal!

11marioking64 -- Cars, the movie

Article posted December 7, 2010 at 02:14 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1298

Hello, on this blog, I’m going to be talking about a movie by Disney Pixar, Cars.

Cars is a movie about cars that are able to talk. In the movie, Lightning McQueen, ( the main character) is a red race car. He also has an arch Nemesis name Chick Hicks. Chick is a green race car and he and Lightning only think racing is about winning. When there is a race, the winner gets a piston cup which signals that the car is a car that won a race. Soon, Lightning has a race against some other cars including Chick Hicks and the King. The King is the best, fastest race car so far which means that he is Dinoco. Dinoco is a rank that means that race car is the best so far. When Lightning races, the three restless cars finish in a tie. So that means they will have a rematch at California. So when Lightning and his coach truck, Mac, go there, Mac gets tired and accidentally dropped off Lightning without even noticing. Soon Lightning gets lost and causes trouble in route 66 known as Radiator springs.

I recommend this movie to other people because it is a funny, cool looking, exciting movie. It has Mater a funny character, all the characters are different in ways, and it has a twist at the end that Lightning purposely loses in last because he saved the King from Chick Hicks when Chick Hicks pushed King off the road.

I chose this topic for my free blog because the plot is amazing, it’s about racing, and it has talking cars. Who doesn’t like that? It’s also entertaining and fun to watch from beginning to end. I also like the genre fantasy. It is one of my favorite genres. I also chose this topic because it has unique characters.

The problem in the story is that Lightning has to win a Piston cup (He thinks he has to) in California. He can’t go any where because he doesn’t know where California and is lost. He also pretty much destroyed the road in Radiator Springs so he has to fix it because Doc Hudson, a three time piston cup winner, and one of the best race cars, made him. Soon while Lightning was fixing the road he made a best friend with Mater. Mater is a rusty, small, pickup truck. He is a funny car that can get along with easily. He also makes friends with other characters names, Sally, Sheriff, Luigi, and others. Finally Lightning finishes the road and Doc goes and teaches him some racing lessons.

That was my blog about the Disney Pixar movie, Cars. Thank you for reading this.

12tennisace -- How to be a Bucket Filler

Article posted December 6, 2010 at 06:48 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1245

How to be a Bucket Filler

Somethings are very hard to do, and being a bucket filler can be one of them. A bucket filler, is a person who helps other people and cares about their friends and family. You could just imagine that you have a bucket in your hand all the time and whenever you help someone, you fill bothy yours and the person’s you helped. If you have a bucket that is empty, then you never tried helping other people. A way to be a bucket filler is to help needy people, help disabled people and you can be a bucket filler by just helping friends and family. Standing up for other people is a nice way to be a bucket filler to a person.

Some people have difficulties to be a bucket filler and they be a bucket dipper. A bucket dipper is the opposite of a bucket filler. If you are a bucket dipper, you bully other people and be rude to everyone.Being a bucket filler can be hard and it is very important to be one.

Sometimes people forget to be a bucket filler without even noticing it. You can a bucket filler with adults too. It is even more important to be nice to parents, teacher or any adult. When you help people, it makes you a better person and it will make you feel good about yourself. Sometimes when you might be angry, you might take your anger on someone else that did not do anything to you. That is included to be a bucket dipper. Just think to treat other people how you want to be treated. If you want other people to be nice to you then you should be nice to other people. If you are mean to everyone then you should be nice to the people around you.

When you are working in a group, taking all the credit is not a good idea. When you are in a group and you are telling someone about it, then you should not tell the person that you did everything even though you did not. Being bossy is not a good idea either. It is even worse if you boss other people around when you are in a group.

13doglover -- Intrepid

Article posted December 6, 2010 at 10:54 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1426

I looked up and saw a huge silver ship that was larger than two football fields.I was thinking about how would I see the whole ship in a hour. I was about to step foot on the Intrepid. “Yes” I screamed. It will be the first warship I ever gone on.
The Intrepid is a Essex class of Aircraft. It is now a museum in New York city located in the Hudson River.I went over the summer with my cousin, my mom,my brother and my mom’s friend. They took me to the Intrepid because they knew I loved warships.
The Intrepid had so much history. It served in three wars. On the ship there were videos that showed us the history. So many fun things happened on this day. There was real smoke that was coming out of a model plane next to me. “Ahh, I can’t see,” I screamed to my cousin.
My cousin said, “ It is just a simple machine, will you rexcited !”
The museum wanted you to feel like you were there in a war. The ship had a huge cannon on the left side of the ship. There were real helicopters and airplanes on the stop of the ship. They were full of real bullets holes in them.I was so excited to see these things.I thought to myself, why haven’t I come here earlier.
I was so happy to be able to go and see the Intrepid.I think that all schools should go there on a field trip.It is a great place to learn about so much history.Even though it can be expensive,it is so worth it.

15wrestlerfan -- The Time We Were In a Garage Trying To Fix A Motorcycle

Article posted December 2, 2010 at 10:16 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1386

Well everyone if you want to learn how to start up a 10 year motorcycle, well here is a story to hear. In this story Me and my grandpa are trying to fix a old motorcycle but there was one or two problems.

One day me and my grandpa were in our garage, in Italy and I found a motorcycle. I asked him “hey, grandpa can we try to start up this motorcycle?” He told me that “that motorcycle was ten years old.” Then he told me “well we’ll try.” So we woke up the next day and went to the town gas station and said “can we have some gas put in this case please?” approvazione which means okay. So we got home and we got the motorcycle and put the clean gas inside it, and we go to start it up and it doesn’t start and we say “we tried everything what else is there to do?” So the next day we woke up and looked around the bike and were thinking what else is there to do?

Trying to fix a motorcycle isn’t as easy as you think.
It takes a lot of time and patience, and it takes a lot of time.

So we were thinking hmmm. What is there else to do on this bike? So then we saw a latch under the seat and we pulled it up. Then we saw that we had to change the oil and the spark plug.the spark plug was burnt out. So then we went to the town mechanic and bought oil and a 350v. spark plug. When we got home we put in the oil and the spark plug. We also cleaned all of the dirt from the body of the bike. When we went to start it we heard vmmmm vmmmm vmmmmm vmm vmmmmmm=http://!! I was so happy. It sounded like a racing motorcycle miracle.

Now when I go back I look forward to riding it.
That is the only motorcycle I can ride.

16sportslover -- The Christmas Tradition

Article posted December 5, 2010 at 10:11 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 1225

The whole year I wait for day. I just can’t wait for it. You must be wondering what I can’t wait wait for so I am going to tell you. I am always looking forward to going to my grandma’s house and seeing all my family for Christmas. I do this every year so now it is a tradition that my family does.

I go to my grandma’s house every year looking forward to seeing all my family who I don’t see very often.I go to my grandma’s house on Christmas eve evening. I also am always very cheerful and happy while I am going there. I always wear a pretty dress or I wear a pretty shirt with jeans or fancy pants.  I also bring my pajama’s so when it gets late I get changed into them and lay down.

I stay at my grandma’s for a while. I arrive there about six o’clock in the evening  and leave at about  twelve thirty through one o’clock in the morning. I stay at my grandma’s for a while because we open presents at twelve o’clock in the morning. My family does this because it is a spanish tradition and I am spanish. While I am waiting till twelve o’clock my family eats a big feast with everyone and we all chat.  After we eat dinner we have dessert. After that we watch videos of everyone when they were little. The videos make us laugh and we enjoy it. We watch videos for a while but we still have time before twelve o’clock. While we still wait we just chat and some of the kids lay down and take a nap. We are all very tired but we tell our kin to wake us up before we are about to open presents. For those who don’t take a nap we either chat or watch T.V together.

Finally it turns to twelve o’clock on the clock and my family gathers around the Christmas tree where all the gifts are. My uncle turns on the video camera  that he brings. Then we start opening presents. When we open our gifts we are very happy about what we got. Sometimes, the presents we get are very expensive presents.  For example, last year my family got a Wii! We were all so happy about what we got. We said thank you about a billion times. We wanted to play it at that very second but we knew we couldn’t until later that day because it was very early in the morning. After everyone opens presents we all start to say good-bye to eachother and say thank-you to the gift they gave us. Then we leave. On the way home I am always very happy about what I got and I am very cheerful. I am always very tired on the way home. Then, I close my eyes and think about everything that I got and about later that day. I knew I was going to get more presents.

This is what my Christmas tradition is and what we do. I enjoy every single second I am at my grandma’s house. I can’t wait to go this year to my grandma’s house on Christmas eve!

17Froghopper -- Gold Frog

Article posted December 4, 2010 at 06:23 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1395

Did you know that the gold frog is the smallest frog in the southern hemisphere? This remarkable frog grows up to only 9.8 mm in body length. That’s one centimeter or 3/8 of an inch! The offspring of the gold frog is not even bigger than the first joint of a grown human’s index finger! The gold frog lives in the south hemisphere or in Brazil. Brachycephalus didactylus or Izecksohn’s Toad are other names people call the frog. Wasn’t that amazing facts about the gold frog?

What does the gold frog look like? The gold frog has many different colors. The colors are dark green, dark brown, but the most beautiful color the frog is, gold, as most gold frogs are this color. Even some gold frogs have black spots on their backs. As I said before the most astonishing characteristics of the gold frog is how tiny the gold frog really is.

Are gold frogs suffering from instinction? Yes, they are almost instinct. They are very rare frogs in the world and people are fighting for the survival of the gold frog. The cause of the instinction is that bigger animals eat them. I really hope they survive so one day my family could see them in real life.

I feel sad to hear that they might not exist anymore but I have a little confidence left because I still know that some of the gold frogs are living in the Yosemite National Park right now. I know they will always be there as their babies come along and grow up and no one will take them away, ever. I love frogs and they are the smallest frog I will ever see. This is why I care about this endangered species.

18chessmaster -- Getting My X-Box

Article posted December 5, 2010 at 07:16 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 1324

I got my X-Box on November twenty-seventh, a day that I will be reminded of every time I look at my basement T.V. This was the day I had wanted to celebrate my birthday because that was the last day my cousins would be in town. They would be leaving for upstate New York the next day. The party was at my aunt's house (that was where my cousins were staying).

I couldn't believe that day was here. Finally! That day was here, the one I had anticipated for weeks! My day, with my games, my snacks, and my presents! In the car, on my way to my aunt's house, I contemplated my luck. Just thinking made me smile! The day flew by. There were chips out. We played games, and a little ping-pong. Finally, after a day that felt like a year, I was sitting at the broad, wooden dinner table. There was a battle going on in my mind. Half my mind was saying, "It was the only thing I asked for! I'm definitely going to get it." But the other half of my mind was saying, "It's a four hundred dollar gift! No way are you going to get that!"

Then, a big, wrapped box was set down right in front of me. It couldn't be...! I slowly, carefully removed the black "Happy Birthday!" wrapping paper. I gasped when I saw the little silver X on the side. I ran around the table. "Thank you, thank you!"

From that point on, I knew I would be looking forward to any spare time I could get my hands on. Why, I'm wasting time right now!

19cutiepie -- The Ride!

Article posted December 4, 2010 at 06:02 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1396

The Ride!

My cousins and I went to Atlantic city for just two days, when we’ve reached we first decided that we should go on the broad walk where there is lots of rides. One of my cousins asked

“Which ride do you want to go on?” I looked around, then I saw this huge ride name Crazy Mouse.

I said to my cousin

“How about this ride, it looks fun”

“Oooooook” she said in a werid tone. My cousin, aunt, and I got on the line, I was looking around to see if this was safe for a nine years old, “OH NO!” I shouted, our turn was up.

Before I went in the mouse cart I was looking if there were extra belts to hold me tight, there wasn’t. When I sat down, I was screaming to death, I thought the ride has started. Slowly and slowly it went up and up and up then... BOOM it went down as fast as it could, when they put a big break  it felt like the cart it going to fall off the rail. My aunt was saying something to me but I couldn't hear what she was saying, the only thing I heard was my crying and screaming to death. When the cart went down I smelled smoke! I screamed and screamed   but then I stoped  to see if my cousin smelled smoke to, I asked her if she smelled it, she said “No” Finally it came to an end, “It STOPED It stoped Yes Yes Yes” I said That was the time when I was only nine years old and hated that ride!

20tonyromo -- Bowja Ninja 3

Article posted December 1, 2010 at 10:48 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1331

The Computer Game called

Bowja Ninja 3

One of my favorite games to play on the computer is Bowja Ninja 3. It is stragedy game to see how well your head will work if you were a ninja.

In the game there are only 3 keys you have to use. The first key is that when you have a red circle spinning it means it is trying to load the attack. The next key is the cursor when you can’t click anything that means that you can’t click to shoot. When you have the click able cursor that means that you can shoot the arrow on the person or machine.

If you want to play the game it isn’t rated yet. Since it isn’t I think it should be rated 7 and above since is a high level game with your brain en voled in it. It also has some random key words that are for hitting them that's why I rate it for 7 year old and on.

In the game it en voles higher level thinking. First you have to figure out were to shoot a arrow and if it will work.

In the game it involves higher level thinking. First you have to figure out where to shoot an arrow and if it will work. After you have to keep on doing that until you reach a robot that you have to go into it and fight a helicopter, a tank, an army car and a huge robot until your robot falls apart. After you have to go through a code box that shows the code on the wall of the beast cave. After you will have to click the letter ghost and spell the words ninja kima.

I think you should play this game if you like violence that doesn’t have blood. It also testis the brain knowledge you have in your brain.

You should play this game when you have no school work or when you have no work to do. You should because if you play killing games without any knowledge you learn it will not make you smarter to work on a computer.

This is why I think that this is the best game ever.

21gameman -- Falling off a Horse at Pinegrove

Article posted December 6, 2010 at 05:50 PM GMT0 • comment (3) • Reads 1402

Have you ever been thrown of a horse and went speeding towards the ground? Well, I have, and it was not pretty. Let me tell you all about my horrible accident at Pinegrove. It was a cold day in the Catskills Mountains. I was at Pinegrove a resort with my mom and grandma. This is a great place to get away. I went there for Halloween weekend.

At this resort, you can go horse back riding. There are a lot of horses for you to choose from. There are plenty of muddy trails to ride on while looking at the mountains and trees. I decided to go horseback riding with my mom. This was my second time I was going to ride a horse. I was a little scared.

The horse that I chose was called Mirage. It was a white horse that had a cool saddle on it. I was ready to climb on it. After I got on my horse, my mom got on her horse named Patrick. We were ready to go on the trail. I knew we had to go on the beginner trail. They have more trails for advanced horse back riders.

We left the stable and went towards the muddy and rocky trail. The person in front of me was having problems with their horse on the entire trail. It was making me nervous. I thought that she would take the horse back , but she didn’t. When we were heading back towards the stable, her horse stopped short. My horse was mad and did not like about what really happened. We all had to lift ourselves off the ground to get up and make sure we were alright. We walked away from this accident with only bruises. We were very lucky to be alive and not hurt.

I cannot believe I survived a horse tossing me off it. It was weird to think that I was not hurt at all. I am not saying that I wasn’t sore how the horse in front of me stopped short. So, my horse was angry and bit the horse in front of it in the butt. I couldn’t believe that this was happening. All of a sudden, my horse reared up because the horse in front of me was trying to kick it. So the horse in back of my horse, which was the one with my mom on it, bit my horse. These three horses were angry and scared. They were acting crazy. All of a sudden, I was flying through the air towards the ground. I cannot believe I got thrown off the horse!

My mom’s horse fell down with my mom on it. It all happened so fast, that I couldn’t even remember it all happening. The people who were on the trail with me, told me what happened. Even though this was scary and upset me, I would still go horseback riding again. I did not cry and get to upset about this. I knew I had to get back on the horse and ride again.

22singingstar -- I'm Stuck!

Article posted December 3, 2010 at 12:39 AM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 1160

I’m Stuck!

My mouth opened wide as I let out a big sigh. My mind just suddenly went blank...

“ Alright boys and girls this time for your blog assignment you are free to write about any topic you want. Normally I would assign you a subject, but this time you get to choose your own. You can write about anything, literally anything, but of course it had to be appropriate for school . Your rough draft is due on Wednesday. If you want early suggestions you will have to submit it by Friday. Your final blog assignment is due on Monday. All the information will be on the class website.”  I quickly raised my hand and asked “ So if we could write about anything we could even write about a princess and a dragon?” Mrs. Conners replied "If you would like to, then yes you may”. Everyone cheered in excitement except for me. What subject should I do? How will I write it? My mind suddenly just went blank.  I’m doomed! Our rough draft is going to due in two days. I’d better think of something quick  just in case I’m going to be stuck like this for the whole day. I was thinking while I was walking home from school. I was thinking while I was doing my homework . I was thinking while I was taking a shower. I was even thinking while I was playing piano. That didn’t work out too well. My mom saw that I wasn’t putting all my effort so she made me play for an extra half hour.

After all that thinking I’ve finally got... nothing! I started to bang my head on the piano and looked like I was ready to fall asleep and start drueling. Why is fifth grade so hard! UUGGGHH! I already have my monthly literary projects to worry about. Now I have blog assignments too every once in a while. If sixth grade is going to be even harder then I would rather stay in elementry school for the rest of my life.  I wonder how the other students are doing. I hope I’m not alone. Somebody please help me!

I haven’t even started my rough draft and it’s due tomorrow. Uuuuuuggggggg! So the next day while I was in school my friend came right up to me and asked me, “ What subject are you doing? I’m writing my blog assignment on my brother”. I replied nervously “ Uuhhh, well I can’t think of anything. I was planning what subject I would do and what I would write on it all day yesterday. I’m stuck! Do you have any suggestions?” “ Well my mom suggested that I write about someone or something I really care about” “ Oh my gosh I just thought of it. I’ll write about how much I love my mom!” I quickly hugged her and jumped up and down and started cheering “ Oh thank you, thank you, thank you”. That night at home I raced to my laptop and started typing:

A loving mother

My mother is a very caring mother. I know because I’ve been living for ten years now and all my problems are fixed because of her. It’s like weather. My happy times and thoughts is the sun. My worries and difficulties are the rain and hail. Then my mother comes along and helps me with each and every step and challenge I take. She’s the rainbow. I’ve been in so much struggles and my mother is the miracle that makes it all fade. She makes me breakfast every morning, provides me with clothing, shelter, a good education and works hard to make money for extras like piano lessons or a TV. I am so overjoyed that I have someone such as my mother to take care of me and support me through thick and thin.

I really can’t explain how much love her, at least not in words. What she has done for me can never be given back. Seeing how hard she works makes me feel guilty that I have nothing to offer back for ALL she has done for me. When I ask her she just says “Just build up your education. The only way to do that is to study hard and that is enough for me”. We smile at each other and communicate through a language that only we understand. We send messages to each other not even noticing that our grins are starting to widen. I rest my head on her shoulder, wrap my arms around her waist and whisper “I love you mom. Thanks a lot ...for everything.” "I love you too sweetheart”.

I would do anything to make her life as happy as how she made mine. Every attempt I take never seems to be enough. I will do as she says. To study hard, and when I grow up I will take of her like how I would take care of a new born baby. She is like gold but priceless. Nothing can be more important than having such a loving mother.

The next day when I handed it in, I got a four! Yay! I should really thank Sammi for giving me the idea I couldn’t have done it without her!
